QUARTERBACKS

Quarterbacks
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Malik CunninghamULUV970034.81
It’s gotten ridiculous what Cunningham has done on the ground this season. The dual-threat now has two rush TDs in every single game thus far and he’s racked up 309 rushing yards through five weeks. Then there’s his 260+ passing yards in each of the last four games and a 7:2 TD:INT ratio on the year. The price tag is obviously hefty, but Cunningham has been worth it with a legit rushing floor that’s allowed him to go for 35+ DFS points in three straight. He’ll face a soft Virginia defense that’s been bad against the run and not much better against the pass. Cunningham is arguably the best fantasy QB right now if he’s going to continue scoring multiple times on the ground - which is very likely in this matchup once again.
Brennan ArmstrongUVUL920033.08
This Virginia-Louisville is definitely one to target on both sides for DFS in a high-total matchup with Vegas projecting a one-score outcome. Opposite Cunningham is Armstrong, who could easily outperform his opponent in a back-and-forth, offensive game. The Louisville pass D ranks 110th in the country in terms of yards allowed and Armstrong is averaging nearly 400 passing yards per game. Since the UVA defense is also bad, the offense has had to throw it a lot to keep pace - and it usually results in big stat lines from Armstrong, who also adds some rushing upside. Though people may look the other way considering this expensive salary, he’s a great GPP play on this slate.
Spencer RattlerOUUT830022.18
While we’re still waiting for that breakout Rattler game, last week’s performance was encouraging. The Heisman hopeful was efficient through the air with an 88% completion rate, two TDs and 243 yards on only 22 completions - but he still only returned 19 DFS points. He’s now gone for 22 points or fewer in three straight games and his salary is now at a season-low. This is the time to buy back in, though, because OU will need a big outing from Rattler if it wants to avoid a loss to Texas. The matchup should be back-and-forth and filled with offense from both sides and Rattler can have success against a Texas defense that’s been shaky at times this season. He'll likely be popular in cash because people don't want to miss out on the slate-breaking performance that's surely coming soon.
Hendon HookerTENNSCAR790020.82
If you rostered Hooker last week, then you likely cashed with his 35 DFS points thanks to four total TDs and 80 rushing yards. The former Virginia Tech transfer is looking comfortable running point in a Tennessee offense that may finally be finding its groove. Since taking over as the starter in Week 2, Hooker has a 10:1 TD:INT ratio through the air with two rushing TDs and 216 rushing yards added in. He’s one of the better dual-threat QBs in the country when at his best and it looks like Tennessee will let him run it plenty as he’s fully stolen the job away from Joe Milton. The South Carolina defense isn’t as tough a matchup as you’d think and the Vols are one of the slate’s highest-projected scoring offenses. His floor should be safe for cash with the rushing.
KJ JeffersonARKMISS690019.37
With a 67 over/under and Ole Miss only favored by one score, the Arkansas offense cannot go overlooked on this slate with tons of scoring incoming on both sides. Though Jefferson and the Razorbacks had a nightmare of a performance against Georgia last week, we should ignore that because no one is having success in that matchup. Expect Jefferson to bounce back and put up nice dual-threat numbers in a high-scoring game this time around. He provides plenty of rushing upside and may be throwing more than usual to keep pace with Ole Miss here.
Taulia TagovailoaUMDOSU600023.32
It doesn’t get much worse than Tagovailoa’s nightmare performance last Friday night when he threw five picks en route to Maryland getting blown out by Iowa. He did salvage a bit of DFS value with his two TDs, but the 11 DK points are hard to swallow. Still, we should expect a bounce back here against an Ohio State defense that’s been shaky at times this season. Although Taulia and Co. are 21-point dogs on the road to OSU, they’re still projected to score 25 points in a high-total matchup. The Terps’ QB could easily throw for 300+ yards and multiple TDs in a game that his team will be trailing throughout - and we’ll take that all day at 6k.

Also Consider:

  • Matt Corral -- Ole Miss ($10,000) -- GPP/Cash
  • C.J. Stroud -- Ohio State ($9,500) -- GPP
  • Jaren Hall -- BYU ($8,100) -- GPP
  • Sam Hartman -- Wake Forest ($7,700) -- Cash
  • Casey Thompson -- Texas ($7,400) -- GPP
  • Hank Bachmeier -- Boise State ($7,000) -- Cash
  • Garrett Shrader -- Syracuse ($6,700) -- GPP/Cash
  • Noah Vedral -- Rutgers ($6,300) -- GPP

RUNNING BACKS

Running Backs

Bijan RobinsonUTOU930031.58
Although the price tag is very high, Robinson has proven to be worth it. The Longhorns’ workhorse smashed the slate last week with his 238 total yards and two scores on a whopping 35 carries. He’s now gone for 100+ rushing yards in four of five games and has nine TDs already. The Texas offense revolves around Robinson’s talent and he even has a role as a pass-catcher out of the backfield. Though the OU rush defense is no slouch, Robinson will see enough volume to rack up yards and find the end zone multiple times like usual. He’s perfectly fine in cash, though people may look elsewhere considering how expensive he is now.
Tyler AllgeierBYUBSU780022.44
It may be hard to fathom with so many marquee offenses in action, but BYU’s lead back could end up being the highest-scoring RB on this slate with a very favorable matchup. The Boise State defense is giving up 194 rushing yards per game this season - which barely trails Virginia as the worst rush defense in action among the afternoon games. Allgeier, meanwhile, just took advantage of a bad Utah State rush D last week when he racked up 218 yards and three TDs on 22 carries. BYU may be leaning on the ground game once again with a couple injuries at the QB position right now - though Jaren Hall is expected to play. Allgeier is definitely in play for cash and may go overlooked with people looking at other bigger-name RBs.
TreVeyon HendersonOSUUMD750022.74
After beginning the season third on OSU’s depth chart, Henderson has quickly taken over as the lead back and is now at a season-high price tag. Though he’s only seen eight carries in both of the past two games, the true freshman racked up 164 combined yards and three TDs on those touches while averaging 10.2 ypc. He’s also only a few weeks removed from breaking out for 277 rushing yards and three scores on 24 carries. Henderson left last week’s game with an undisclosed injury but is “good to go” according to head coach Ryan Day. He should have no problem having a big game against a shaky Maryland rush defense - especially with OSU projected to be the slate’s highest-scoring team as big favorites. The price tag puts him in GPP territoty, but the ceiling is extremely high.
Justice EllisonWAKESYR560012.35
There may be a changing-of-the-guard in Wake’s backfield with Ellison now seeing the majority of touches compared to Beal-Smith. Last week vs. Louisville, Ellison was the hot hand with his 18 touches for 86 total yards and a TD compared to Beal-Smith’s 11 touches for just 36 yards and no scores. On the season overall, Ellison’s 4.8 ypc average is the same as Beal-Smith - but he’s done it on 15 fewer carries. With Wake being undefeated, the offense may roll with Ellison more moving forward if he continues to outperform his teammate. Syracuse just allowed 247 rushing yards to Florida State last week and presents an under-the-radar matchup for Wake’s ground attack.
Kennedy BrooksOUUT510011.16
Oklahoma’s backfield is split between Brooks and Eric Gray, but the former is the better DFS option on this slate at a slightly cheaper price tag. Brooks’ season-long stat line of 54 carries, 318 rushing yards, four TDs and 5.9 ypc are all better than Gray’s 49 carries, 245 yards, zero TD and 5.0 ypc. Last week against Kansas State, Brooks saw 15 carries for 91 yards and a TD while looking much better than Gray - who had only four carries for 22 yards. It’s a gamble to play either one in DFS right now because of the split workload - but Brooks is the better GPP play right now with more proven value.
Henry Parrish Jr.MISSARK480011.25
There’s a key injury situation to monitor in Ole Miss’ backfield and it could make Parrish a massive value. Jerrion Ealy suffered a concussion last week and is now questionable to play on Saturday. We’ll have to monitor warm-ups before this noon ET kickoff, but if Ealy is out then Parrish and Snoop Conner would step into more touches. Of the two, Parrish may end up getting the most work as his 223 rushing yards leads the team compared to 137 for Conner. Though Conner has four rushing scores already and Parrish only one, the between-the-tackles runner with more volume should be Parrish. The Arkansas defense has allowed 153 rushing yards per game and nine rush TDs through five games.
Jalen MitchellULUV460011.02
Statistically speaking, Louisville’s rushing attack has the best matchup on this slate with Virginia giving up 194.8 rushing yards per game. The UVA rush D just allowed Miami RB Cam’Ron Harris to go for 111 yards and two TDs last week and UNC’s Ty Chandler had 198 yards and two scores earlier this year. It sets up very nicely for Louisville lead back Jalen Mitchell, though dual-threat QB Malik Cunningham will surely vulture some TDs like he usually does. Mitchell is consistently getting 15 carries or so as the top RB for the Cardinals offense and he just ran for 89 yards last week vs. Wake Forest. However, he only has one TD through five games as Cunningham is the top red-zone rushing threat. Still, the floor is very comfortable for Mitchell and he’s bound to score again soon.

Also Consider:

  • Kenneth Walker III -- Michigan State ($8,100) -- Cash/GPP
  • Tiyon Evans -- Tennessee ($6,900) -- Cash/GPP
  • Leddie Brown -- West Virginia ($6,500) -- GPP
  • Christian Beal-Smith -- Wake Forest ($5,200) -- GPP
  • Wayne Taulapapa -- Virginia ($4,900) -- Cash
  • Snoop Conner -- Mississippi ($4,200) -- Cash/GPP
  • Master Teague III -- Ohio State ($4,200) -- GPP

WIDE RECEIVERS

Wide Receivers
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Dontario DrummondMISSARK770024.95
Drummond disappointed rosters last week when he had only four catches for 43 yards and less than 10 DFS points. However, we can throw that performance out as it came against a stout Alabama defense as the Ole Miss attack struggled throughout. Expect a bounce back for Drummond as the top target for QB Matt Corral, who should be targeting him heavily as long as Jonathan Mingo remains sidelined. This matchup vs. Arkansas is tough on paper, but the Rebels are still projected to score the slate’s second-most points behind Ohio State - and Drummond will surely find the end zone once or twice as a focal part of the attack.
Jahan DotsonPSUIOWA730024.78
Although we shouldn’t be targeting this low-scoring Iowa-Penn State matchup for DFS, Dotson is basically matchup-proof as one of the country’s best wideouts. He’s proven to be valuable for fantasy in low total games like when he had 102 yards, a TD and 24 DK against Wisconsin in the season opener. Dotson has at least seven catches, 78 yards and a TD in three straight games coming into this week and will likely be putting up 20-30 DFS points or more every time out. He’s also found the end zone every week and remains a top playmaker in this PSU offense. Limit exposure to GPP’s, though, because the Iowa defense presents the toughest test yet for Dotson and the Nittany Lions.
Garrett WilsonOSUUMD680020.7
If Ohio State is on the slate, it’s always a choice between rostering Chris Olave or Garrett Wilson. Considering the slight savings once again, Wilson is the choice in cash - though Olave is always in play for GPP’s. As for Wilson, his 26 receptions and 462 yards both lead the team and his four TDs barely trail Olave’s five. His reception and yardage floor is a bit safer than Olave right now as Wilson has at least 70 yards in every game and has scored in four of five contests. Don’t blame you for rostering either one, though.
Billy Kemp IVUVUL650018.22
Though Dontayvion Wicks is leading the WR corps in receiving yards and TDs, Kemp is still very heavily involved and provides a safe floor for cash. The converted RB has 34 receptions, 362 yards and three TDs through five games and has at least seven grabs in three straight coming into this week. He’s bound to find the end zone again soon and isn’t far removed from breaking the slate in Week 3 vs. UNC when he had 106 yards, two TDs and 33 DFS points. The receiving volume is definitely there and he should see plenty of targets in this high-scoring game against a weak Louisville defense.
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
A.T. PerryWAKESYR540015.74
DK is toying with us with these Wake receiver salaries. Last week it was Roberson as the massive bargain and he smashed value. This week, it’s Perry as the guy to target as he was $6500 a week ago and should not be priced below 6k now. Even though he only had three catches last week, one of them was a TD - which gives him four on the year and one in three straight. He’s a top red-zone target for QB Sam Hartman and could easily find the end zone with the offense projected to score 30+ points as favorites over Syracuse.
Xavier WorthyUTOU500014
We’ve been hyping up Worthy all year and he finally came back down to Earth last week with only one catch for seven yards. However, we should look past that dud outing because Texas leaned heavy on the run and Worthy reportedly dealt with an injury during the game. Expect a bounceback performance for the true freshman, who’s developed a rapport with QB Casey Thompson and is bound for another big stat line in this high-scoring matchup vs. Oklahoma. The price reduction here is an overreaction to one bad game and we should buy low before Worthy is again in the 6k range.
Keytaon ThompsonUVUL460013.43
DraftKings finally did the right thing and took Thompson out of the QB pool and made him a WR. Rightfully so, as the former QB lines up at receiver more often than not and is one of UVA’s top pass-catchers. Through five games, Thompson has 20 receptions for 287 yards while also adding some rushing value with 125 yards on 15 carries. His DFS floor is pretty solid with the combined volume of receiving and rushing work as he has 14+ points in three games already. In a high-scoring matchup against Louisville’s soft defense, Thompson can easily do enough to return value in cash and this may be the cheapest we see him all year.
Jordan WatkinsULUV45009.1
We could hype up Marshon Ford ($4800) for being too cheap again but you know about him by now. Let’s instead focus on Watkins who - like Ford - is also way undervalued for being a top pass-catcher on an offense projected to be in a high-scoring game vs. a weak Virginia defense. Watkins now has at least four catches in all four of Louisville’s competitive games and he has 62 yards in back-to-back outings coming in. Watkins and Ford will continue seeing the majority of targets from Cunningham following the season-ending injury to Braden Smith. Both are great cash salary-savers once again.
Marvin MimsOUUT44008.68
Raise your hand if you expected to see Mims this cheap in DFS by Week 6. No one? Me neither, but here we are. Remember that Mims was Oklahoma’s leading receiver a year ago and is bound for some positive regression once the offense gets rolling. Rattler and Co. showed some life last week and should keep it going in a high-scoring matchup vs. Texas. Mims was solid last game with his four catches for 71 yards - which is a lot better than he’d been previously - and still sees a price reduction this week. This is still a buy low opportunity for a talented receiver who may finally be re-finding his role in a potent OU offense.
Rakim JarrettUMDOSU410015.2
Maryland’s receiving corps endured a brutal loss last week with Dontay Demus Jr. suffering a season-ending knee injury. Demus’ absence now opens up plenty of targets and yardage for the remaining Terps pass-catchers - and Jarrett is one of those who will benefit from more looks. He already has a proven connection with Taulia Tagovailoa with four TDs on the year and at least four grabs in four different games. This matchup vs. Ohio State may seem tough on paper, but the defense has allowed plenty of offensive production to opponents. Even as big underdogs, the Terps are still projected to score 20 points in this high-total game - and Jarrett should see enough volume to return value.
Jadon JacksonMISSARK36007
With Jonthan Mingo out last week, Jackson stepped up with four catches for 30 yards as he saw his first real playing time of the season. Ole Miss will need Jackson and others to fill the void of Mingo, who remains out indefinitely. It’s hard to trust Jackson until we see one more game of evidence that he’s now the No. 3 receiver behind Drummond and Sanders - but last week was encouraging as he played with the first-unit Rebels offense. You can also look at Jahcour Pearson ($3000) for a swing in GPP’s.

Also Consider:

  • Chris Olave -- Ohio State ($7,600) -- Cash/GPP
  • Khalil Shakir -- Boise State ($7,100) -- GPP/Cash
  • Dontayvion Wicks -- Virginia ($7,000) -- GPP
  • Treylon Burks -- Arkansas ($6,300) -- Cash
  • Braylon Sanders -- Ole Miss ($5,500) -- Cash
  • Neil Pau’u -- BYU ($5,200) -- Cash
  • Michael Woods II -- Oklahoma ($4,900) -- GPP/Cash
  • Marson Ford -- Louisville ($4,800) -- Cash
  • Velus Jones Jr. -- Tennessee ($4,600) -- GPP
  • Bo Melton -- Rutgers ($4,600) -- Cash/GPP if healthy
  • Sam LaPorta -- Iowa ($4,200) -- Cash
  • Jeshaun Jones -- Maryland ($3,500) -- GPP
