The LPL and the LCK have started fast this week and we have already had some jaw dropping plays from both leagues. On Saturday morning it feels like a lot of more chalky lineups but as we know in professional esports, anything can happen. Fantasy Value Breakdown

Captain

Favorite: JackeyLove (TES: $12,000) It feels crazy to say that JackeyLove underperformed in his first series where TES lost 0-2 to Rare Atom when he had a 4.4 KDA and had 16 assists. If you watch the match though, you see a different story. JackeyLove wasn’t as aggressive nor did he carry himself as the dominant player as he normally does in games. Ultra Prime has some serious players on their team, but we saw some serious flaws in individual decision making earlier this week. Those types of mistakes are the things that JackeyLove preys upon. I see him being not only more aggressive in lane but I would also expect to see some really flashy plays coming out of the TES ADC.

Value Pick: Doinb (LNG: $10,800)

Top

Favorite: Ale (LNG: $6,800) Of all LPL top laners, I would argue that Ale is the most skilled for playing in lane. He doesn’t have the flashy team kill participation numbers (39%) but he has an amazing KDA (7) and an even better death rate (9%). He is facing Cube who was extremely forgettable in the RA versus TES series earlier this week, which should bode well for Ale finding the opportunities to get out to an early lead. He likes playing aggressive champions and that could translate to big numbers on Saturday morning.

Value Pick: Rascal (KT: $6,000)

Jungle

Favorite: JieJie (EDG: $7,400) JieJie has the highest KDA among junglers in the first week of matches at a shocking 11.3 with a 31% team kill share to boot. I loved his back to back Lee Sin champion selection because it put a lot of play making power in his hands. JieJie will out maneuver enemy junglers and can force his opponents into poor jungle paths which set them further behind. Look for a lot of early fighting against a much worse TT team.

Value Pick: Dread (NS: $6,800)

Mid

Favorite: Knight (TES: $7,600) In a loss to a pretty strong Rare Atom team, Knight dropped 10 kills and 10 assists with only 3 deaths. That is an amazing stat line and he did it while also taking Tryndamere mid in a control mid meta. I think TES got a little too cute in their first series because they felt like they needed to prove something after the horrible let down at the end of 2021 and missing the World Championships. Look for them to settle into better picks but continue their aggressive play.

Value Pick: Cryin (UP: $6,400)

ADC

Favorite: Viper (EDG: $7,800) This feels like too high of a number to me but it is hard not to find smart EDG players to pick up for Saturday. Bolvada has them favored by a mile (-5000) and this should be a really fast series. I like the fact that this should score you the bonus for not playing all three games as well as Viper being so good at producing consistently high kill numbers. I think Viper hitting 10-15 kills in two matches does not sound outside the realm of possibilities for tomorrow.

Value Pick: Light (LNG: $7,400)

Support

Favorite: Zhuo (TES: $6,000) I think the aggression of the TES bot lane helps justify picking up two expensive players. I also believe that spending over $6,000 for a support just doesn’t have the right amount of returns so I wouldn’t go higher than Zhuo. Zhuo is prone to die some, but the amount of assists he usually picks up along the way usually justifies the pick up. I loved his Nautilus pick and prefer to see him on tanky engage champions to pick up more assists in teamfights.

Value Pick: Life (KT: $5,000)

Team

Favorite: EDward Gaming ($5,800) The best team in the WORLD is playing the worst team in their own league. It is hard to say that this doesn’t have the makings of a stomping on Saturday morning. Between the control that JieJie brings and the roaming power of Meiko, TT will have a hard time keeping up with the reigning World Champions.

Value Pick: Nongshim RedForce ($5,200)
