Top Tier

Freddie Freeman, 1B ATL - I said this is the playbook on Saturday and I’ll say it again here. It doesn’t matter who’s on the mound right now -- righty or lefty -- he’s going to mash. He homered for the fourth time in five games on Saturday and over his last 10 games alone, he’s hit .486 with an OPS clearing 1.450. When a player of Freeman’s calibur is this locked in, he’s very hard to fade no matter who’s on the mound against him.

Bo Bichette, SS TOR - The Jays shortstop has loved squaring off against left-handed pitching this year, hitting .348 with a .410 wOBA to boot. He’s riding a seven-game hitting streak currently and hitting .375 in the month of July. Allard has allowed eight-of-11 bombs to right-handed hitters and a 34% hard-hit rate to boot. Bichette, like most of the Blue Jays, should garner a lot of ownership here.

Mid Tier

Cedric Mullins, OF BAL - Mullins is back at it, riding an eight-game hitting streak and continuing to prove that he’s an elite hitter in this league. He can hit for average (.318 AVG), power (16 HR) and will swipe a bag (16 SB) to boot. He draws an elite match-up against a right-hander who has a 4.99 ERA across 21 IP this year. Mullins has a .322 AVG and a .406 wOBA vs. RHP this season.

J.D. Davis, 3B NYM - Davis took no time at all to feel comfortable at the plate once again as he homered twice and notched three hits overall in just his second game back from his IL stint dating back to May 1st. Davis, through 16 games this season, has hit .419 with an OPS north of 1.200. JT Brubaker has struggled lately, allowing five earned runs or worse in back-to-back outings. Righties have an .800 OPS and .341 wOBA against Brubaker this season.

Value Tier

Hunter Dozier, 3B KC - It’s been a rough go for Dozier this year, but Matt Harvey can be the cure to all your problems. Dozier’s now hit in five-of-six games and is starting to show signs of life at the plate. His .286 AVG and .783 OPS in July are his best numbers of any month by a mile. Matt Harvey is pitching, as mentioned earlier, and righties destroy him. They’re batting .354 with a .977 OPS and .406 wOBA against him.

Robbie Grossman, OF DET - You know when we play Robbie Grossman? When he’s facing a southpaw. He rakes from the right side of the plate. This year he’s batting .273 with a robust .395 wOBA against LHP. On the flipside of things, J.A. Happ struggles mightily against RHH. Righties have hit .299 with a .930 OPS and .392 wOBA off of Happ this year. The price point is wonderful too.
