With all of the turkey, potatoes, casserole and pie being heated up, make sure when you sit down with your food you’re taking a look at what value is available for Friday’s 11-game main slate. There’s plenty of leftovers! Here are some of my favorite value options available to us!

Malik Beasley vs. CHA

We found out last night that Patrick Beverley would miss today’s game and then today we found out he’ll miss multiple weeks. Beverley left his last game after just five minutes and Beasley took his spot and played 39 minutes. He’s a very streaky shooter, but should have plenty of opportunities against the Hornets defense. They’re 21st in defensive rating this year and they’re also third in pace, which bodes well for the Timberwolves maximizing their offensive possessions. It’s unclear if he’s going to slide into the starting lineup, but that doesn’t really matter to me at his price across the industry.

DraftKings

James Robinson-Earl vs. WAS ($4,300)

The Thunder have started to deploy their second round pick more and more as the season has gone on and he’s responded well. He’s played 25+ minutes in five straight games, has two straight double-doubles and has scored 13+ actual points in three straight games. Over the last two weeks, he’s averaged .94 FP/min, and if he gets another 28-30 minutes here, he could put up a big game here.

Franz Wagner vs. CHI ($4,200)

The price went up just $300 after his 31.8 DKP performance the day before Thanksgiving. This is not the easiest of match-ups and in the last four games in which Wagner didn’t play the Milwaukee Bucks, he’s put up at least 28 DKP and has played at least 29 minutes in each game. Even if this game blows out, Wagner has been blowout proof, playing into the 30’s in terms of minutes even in those situations.

FanDuel

Buddy Hield vs. LAL ($5,300)

There are a lot of things to like about Hield right now. I know I’m suggesting him on FanDuel and generally, when someone has serious three-point upside, we like to use them on DraftKings. That said, look at this price point! He is a fantastic price, in a slate high 228 game total and with new head coach Alvin Gentry, Hield has played at least 30 minutes in each game. The Lakers are second in pace and 19th in DRtg, which bodes well for Hield in both instances. I really like him in tournaments across the industry, but this price stands out like a sore thumb.

Brandon Clarke vs. ATL ($4,800)

There has been a sudden shift for Memphis in their front court. Over the last two games, Clarke has played more than Steven Adams and has done well while on the floor. He’s fallen one and two rebounds shy of a double-double in each of those games while topping 25 minutes in both. This game environment against Atlanta is as elite as it gets with a 226 total and Atlanta being 25th in DRtg this year.

Yahoo! Fantasy

Jarred Vanderbilt vs. CHA ($13)

Something has gotten into Vanderbilt and boy oh boy has he been good lately. He’s grabbed 10+ rebounds in four straight games and at least seven in six straight. Not only that, but he has at least two steals in three straight games and has truly been contributing everywhere. He now gets a match-up against arguably the worst defensive front court in the NBA against Charlotte. Charlotte currently ranks 29th in rebounding rate this season and 28th in DvP against the power-forward position.

Kevin Huerter vs. MEM ($11)

I will gladly look Huerter’s way at $1 off of minimum salary against one of the league’s worst defenses. I absolutely will do that. Memphis is dead last in defensive rating as a team in a game with a 226 total. Huerter has put up at least 19 DKP in four straight games and 24+ in three of the four. The only one that he didn’t get 20 in was the one in which they blew San Antonio out. Huerter will continue to start and approach 30 minutes per game, giving him plenty of opportunity in this offensive-minded game.
