Cameron Johnson vs. GSW

We know Devin Booker is going to be out once again, so lock and load Johnson in all formats here. He’s flashing an extremely safe floor in the 27-29 minutes he’s been asked to play. That’s what he’s played in the two games since Booker has gone down and has put up 26.8 and 32.2 DKP. He’s also blocked a shot in each game, which bodes well on sites like FanDuel and Yahoo! where you’re getting the extra point. Johnson sees a 1.3% usage bump and averages .89 FP/min. Johnson is good for cash and tournaments on this slate.

Georges Niang vs. ATL

Philadelphia could elect to go many ways with their starting lineup with recent news that Tobias Harris will not play. They’ve given Niang a handful of starts and I think this is definitely a logical direction considering the Hawks play a traditional power-forward in John Collins, so the size of Niang is needed. With Harris off the floor, Niang has a very solid 21.3% usage rate and can easily pay this price point off with most of the defensive attention on Joel Embiid.

DraftKings

Jalen Brunson vs. NO ($4,900)

With Kristaps Porzingis likely to sit here, Brunson is in line for a big workload offensively. That’s really been the case all year whether it’s been Luka Doncic or Porzingis out of the lineup, Brunson has been the guy to step up in their place and be the second go-to scorer. With Porzingis out of the lineup, Brunson averages one FP/min and has topped a 20% usage rate to boot. He’s an elite play with Porzingis out against one of the worst defenses in the league.

Dewayne Dedmon vs. IND ($4,800)

The first question on my mind, and should be yours too, is can Dedmon stay out of foul trouble here. Dedmon, when given extended run this year, has been very handsy and has gotten himself into foul trouble a lot. That’s OK when he’s just above minimum salary or under 4K, but that’s not the case with his price tag any longer. That said, he gave the Heat 31 minutes his last time out and put up a double-double, notching 39.25 DKP overall.

FanDuel

Otto Porter vs. PHX ($4,600)

I have a couple hesitations with Porter, but I really like this price point. The main hesitation is that Damion Lee is back, but will they take Porter off the floor in favor of Lee if he continues to play well? He’s topped 25 minutes in each of the last two games and has scored 16 and 18 actual points and 29.7 and 38 FDP. The Warriors are still without Andre Iguodala too, so Porter should continue to see extended run. He’s had a steal in five straight games, which we love over on FanDuel.

Yahoo! Fantasy

Kevin Huerter vs. PHI ($13)

It’s surprising to see Huerter still priced this way on any platform. He’s only $3 off minimum salary on Yahoo! and that’s a steal. The Hawks continue to be without De’Andre Hunter and Bogdan Bogdanovic and possibly Cam Reddish as well. Huerter has played big minutes the last two games, 34 and 38, and last game shot the lights out of the ball scoring 19 points on 8-of-11 from the floor. He’s a very capable scorer that will continue to get ample opportunity due to injury. This is a good match-up going up against Seth Curry and that backcourt that has struggled defensively.

Dwight Howard vs. LAC ($12)

After the Lakers last game, head coach Frank Vogel said Dwight Howard will enter the Lakers starting lineup for Friday’s game. I know LeBron James wasn’t in the lineup last time out and he’ll be back here, but Howard played 32 minutes! Do I expect that here? No, but I still think there’s a sizable role, enough for him to crush his value at this price tag. His defensive upside is enough as he’s one of the most prolific shot blockers of all time. He had two of them last time out! Howard is a decent GPP option on this slate.
