Today's Top Plays

De'Andre Hunter OVER 14.5 points

So this one is extremely enticing to me considering how great Hunter has been of late. He’s been back for just five games and in each of the last four, he’s put up 30+ minutes. The Hawks have already ruled Bogdan Bogdanovic out, Danilo Gallinari is questionable and Clint Capela is on a minutes limit in his return.

I mentioned he’s played 30 minutes in four of the five games, he’s also topped 15 points in four of five as well, including a game against the Heat. For anyone who claims “well he’s only averaging 12.8 PPG this year”. Sure, but that was a team with Bogdan Bogdanovic who’s injured, Cam Reddish who’s been traded and the aforementioned Gallinari and Capela – who’s only playing limited minutes.

Steven Adams OVER 8.5 rebounds

Adams has been back off of COVID-19 protocols for three games now and the minutes have ticked up in each game, starting at 21 on the 14th and ending up at 26 in the Milwaukee game on Wednesday. Adams has grabbed double-digit rebounds in six of his last seven games and yet we’re getting a nice 8.5 number here.

NOW, there’s a few things of note here. One, he’s only averaging 7.5 rebounds/game against Denver BUT the kicker is he’s averaged 30.5 minutes/game. He’s averaging 11.8 rebounds/game in the 13 contests he’s topped 30 this year.

Adams is tasked with guarding Nikola Jokic guy, by the way. Let’s ROCK!
