We got nine games on the NBA DFS main slate tonight with another batch of players out of the lineup due to health and safety protocols. Per usual, this means there are plenty of valeu plays on tonight's slate that we should be looking to take advantage of at each position so let us dive in!

POINT GUARD

R.J. Hampton, ORL - The Magic guard did not start but he did still play 32 minutes off the bench against the Heat the other night. We saw Hampton get extended run earlier this year against the Bucks and he went off in both, averaging 38.9 fantasy points while playing 30 minutes a night.

Jaylen Nowell, MIN - Nowell has benefited from the T'Wolves being without D'Angelo Russell, Patrick Beverely and Anthony Edwards and while Pat Bev is expected to play tonight against the Knicks we should still see plenty of run from Nowell who flashed his ceiling last night against the Celtics where he dropped 45.5 fantasy points.

SHOOTING GUARD

Malik Monk, LAL - Monk returned from the Covid list to play 35 minutes off the bench for the Lakers in their loss to the Nets on Christmas Day. Monk has flashed elite scoring upside this season and he finished the game going 8-for-13 from the floor, scoring 20 points with four rebounds and three assists. He is a nice GPP dart throw tonight as the Lakers play the Rockets.

Garrett Temple, NOP - Brandon Ingram is out and Josh Hart is questionable to play tonight for the Pelicans. Temple played 35 minutes the other night against the Thunder, scoring 22 points with six rebounds, one assist, two blocks and one steal. Now, this was certainly a ceiling game for the veteran wing but we have seen consistent production from him at times when he gets the extended playing time and this could certainly continue tonight against the Cavs.

SMALL FORWARD

Kenrich Williams, OKC - I've touted Williams a lot this season but with the Thunder so decimated right now I can see a path to him being in the starting lineup tonight and playing a lot of minutes. Josh Giddey has already been ruled out as has Darius Balzey, James Robinson-Earl and Derick Favors for tonight's contest.

Deni Avdija, WAS - The Wizards forward has averaged 29 minutes over the last three games and during that stretch he has averaged 29.3 fantasy points as well. Washington will be without a bunch of players again tonight with Montrezl Harrell, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Aaron Holiday, Rual Neto, Anthony Gill and what was supposed to be a returning Rui Hachimura all out due to covid protocols.

POWER FORWARD

Carmelo Anthony, LAL - Might be a bit of a point chasing here but the matchup against the Rockets is an elite one. With Anthony Davis out of the lineup we see a lot of Carmelo Anthony on the floor and the man is still an absolute bucket. Good value for him tonight in your GPP lineups at his price point.

Otto Porter Jr. GSW - With Draymond Green out tonight for the Warriors we should see Porter continue to play solid minutes at the wing for Golden State. The price has come up a bit on him but the value is still there given his role and this is a matchup that he should be able to take advantage of. Porter has given us 30+ FP in three straight games.

CENTER

Omer Yurtseven, MIA - Going to be a very popular spend down option tonight. With Adebayo and Dedmond out of the lineup the starting center position is all Yurtseven right now. Over the last five games he is averaging 27 FP over 23.5 minutes. He played 33 minutes the other night and went for 16 points and 15 rebounds.

Isaiah Roby, OKC - As I mentioned earlier, the Thunder are missing what is essentially their entire front court rotation tonight against the Kings and that leaves mostly Mike Muscala and Isaiah Roby as the two still standing. Muscala may get the start here but I think Roby is the better player and at min-price I would be very intrigued here given the matchup against the Kings.
