**Please note that players not listed below are not necessarily a complete fade and any player listed can certainly be used as the MVP/Captain. These are merely suggestions for players to use when setting Showdown lineups.

MVP/CPT

Stephen Curry, PG (GSW) – Can we have a do over please? In what has otherwise been a great season for Curry, we were all over him in Sunday’s Playbook, the point guard simply had a dud against Toronto. Perhaps the hip was still bothering him as Curry was well below his season norms as he attempted only 10 shots on Sunday and made just two of them on the way to a middling 12-point effort. Curry did have eight assists, so he at least got to 27 DK points, but I’m looking for a rebound here.

Tyrese Maxey, PG (PHI) – There are a lot of question marks, what else is new, in Philadelphia’s lineup tonight. It seems that at least one or two of those players, but not Joel Embiid, will be back tonight, and that could work in Maxey’s favor as it takes some of the load off of him. The thought process here is to target Curry on the defensive side, and using Maxey as the Captain allows you to target both sides of the matchup. Maxey continues to score at will, 22.8 points in his last five games, and he isn’t slowing down from the volume perspective as he took 22 shots in his last game on Monday (making just eight of them). The key here is going to be how many assists Maxey can tally, he is averaging 4.6 per game, but the upside and baseline is there.

Tobias Harris, PF (PHI) – This is obviously dependent on Harris’ availability tonight, but as he simply suffered from a sore hip, he should be back in action. There are some nights when Harris flashes a little more upside, but he is generally one of the better options at 20.6 points, 8.3 rebounds, and 4.1 assists per game. Unless you are really looking to save money tonight, this is where my comfort level ends for the top spot.

Util

Jordan Poole, PG/SG (GSW) – Poole has really stepped up this season and that is even more so the case when Curry is sidelined or limited as he is coming off games of 33 and 32 points in his last two. The problem though is that in his three games prior to that, Poole has a combined 38 points and that might be closer to what we see here as he is averaging 18.4 points per game. With three rebounds and 3.2 assists, Poole’s value will be tied how efficient he is from the field.

Andre Drummond, C (PHI) – How quickly things turn and fluctuate when it comes to DFS. There was a stretch where you would write Drummond into your lineup with a pen as the value was simply that good. First of all, Drummond’s price has caught up to his production, but we also need to remember that he is averaging just 7.3 points per game. Drummond has had his moments offensively this season, but it’s his ability on the boards that really boosts his value. After picking up just 16 rebounds in three combined games, Drummond returned to his old ways with 23 rebounds on Monday; but it was against Sacramento. This is an upside play, but we have to be careful as Drummond’s price will force you to make some tough lineup decisions.

Draymond Green, PF/C (GSW) – I know I repeat myself, but it continues to fascinate me how little Green has been doing offensively these days. He recently gave us some optimism with back-to-back 11-point outings, but Green followed that up by scoring four points in each of his next two games. The good news though, is that all four of those games saw Green break the 30-point threshold on DK as he did it on the heels of a 14-assist performance followed by 14 rebounds. We don’t necessarily care where the production comes from, but it is interesting to take a peek at his season averages of 7.8 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 7.6 assists per game.

Andrew Wiggins, SG/SG (GSW) – Wiggins really stepped up the last two games in Curry’s stead as he scored 27 and 32 points respectively. At 19.1 points per game, Wiggins has emerged as a dependable scoring option for Golden State although with Curry likely firing on all cylinders tonight, I would expect him to regress closer to his season average but that still should be good for around 30 DK points.

Seth Curry, SG (PHI) – After missing Monday’s game as a late scratch with a back issue, I’m operating under the assumption that Curry makes his return tonight to the starting lineup. Curry continues to play upwards of 30 minutes per game so he has ample opportunity to fill the stat sheet, and at 25 DK points per game, he does a solid job of it.

Dart Throws

Chris Chiozza, PG (GSW) – Chiozza emerged to average 18 minutes per game over his last two and we have seen some productivity from him (8.5 points and two assists per game). It remains to be seen whether Chiozza will get the same playing time tonight as Golden State was without Gary Payton for one of those games and Stephen Curry for the other. However, Chiozza did earn the playing time.

Matisse Thybulle, SF/PF (PHI) – Thybulle will likely be coming off the bench tonight, but that doesn’t mean he won’t have a sizable role. He can reach double figures in scoring, but it doesn’t come regularly enough to think of him as anything more than a dart throw. We should note though, that he is the cheapest of the Philadelphia wing players tonight so that does give him some level of attractiveness.

Jonathan Kuminga, PF (GSW) – Talk about another all or nothing player here, quite literally in fact based on Kuminga’s last few games. He is as cheap as they come tonight, but it’s possible he also leaves you with a glaring zero if he’s unable to do anything with his seven or eight minutes of playing time as that has happened twice in his last three games. The upside here, if everything goes right, could be 15 or 20 fantasy points though.

Furkan Korkmaz, SG/SG (PHI) – I don’t like to go this high for a dart throw, but Korkmaz is a reasonably priced option and he comes with a decent floor (based on him making his three-point attempts) and some upside depending on the status of Curry and Danny Green

Otto Porter, SF/PF (GSW) – Porter has carved out a steady role with Golden State in the sense that he plays around 20 minutes per game. The problem though, is that in two of his last four games, the forward was scoreless in a combined 36 minutes of action while picking up just six rebounds and two assists.
