QUARTERBACKS

Sam Howell (North Carolina) Opp @ GT ($9.0K DK)

Monster performance last week against Virginia throwing for 307 yards on 14-for-21 passing and five touchdowns for a 93.9 QBR. Along with the scores through the air Howell ran the ball 15 times for 112 yards a part of a nearly 400 yards rushing feat by the Tar Heels. Tech surprised Clemson with a 3-3-5 defensive look last week which helped them limit the Tigers to 284 yards of offense, but this is a very similar scheme that Virginia employed last week against the Tar Heels and Howell carved them up. Howell is the top overall QB on the slate and can be  employed in all types of contests – Cash and /or GPP.

Adrian Martinez (Nebraska) Opp @ MSU ($7.2K DK)

AMart is becoming a solid dual threat quarterback. Over the last three games he has completed 73% of his passes with a 4:1 TD/INT ratio while accounting for seven touchdowns during that span. Faces a Michigan State cover three defense that is allowing 269 yards per game (107th in Nation) and let Charleston Rambo rack up 156 yards and two touchdowns last week. On the season Amart has thrown five touchdowns and has rushed 51 times for 290 yards and four more scores. He nearly pulled off an upset on the road against #3 Oklahoma last week and travels again to face a hot Spartan team putting him in play in all formats.

Jordan Yates (Georgia Tech) Opp vs. UNC ($5.1K DK)

From the time he took over as quarterback in the middle of the Northern Illinois game Yates has been nothing but accurate and close to mistake free. He pushed ACC favorite Clemson to the brink in a very encouraging 14-8 loss and has become a solid game manager. Since Yates has taken over the reins under center, he has thrown for 592 yards and eight touchdowns while completing 66% of his passes. Tech OC Dave Patenaude has not officially named a starter yet between Yates and Jeff Sims, but all signs point towards Yates and at $5.1K becomes a very interesting value dart against a North Carolian pass defense that is allowing 270.7 yards per game in the air.

Also Consider:

Spencer Rattler – Oklahoma ($9.6K) GPP

Will Levis- Kentucky ($6.4K DK) Cash/GPP

Clayton Tune- Houston ($6.9K DK) GPP *check status

Emory Jones- Florida ($8.3K DK) GPP

RUNNING BACKS

Kenneth Walker III (Michigan State) Opp vs NEB ($7.2K DK)

Walker is now part of the Heisman conversation after rushing for 172 yards on 27 carries (6.4 yards per carry) in the Spartans 38-17 upset of Miami. The FBS leading rusher at 493 yards has 72 more yards than any other player and is averaging 8.6 yards per carry on 57 attempts with five touchdowns plus has three catches for 17 yards and a score. Walker has been unstoppable that no one has an answer to yet and now gets to face a Nebraska rush defense that is allowing 156.2 yards on the ground (4.34 yards per carry). Top raw scorer at RB on the slate

Ty Chandler (North Carolina) Opp @ GT ($6.2K)

Huge breakout game last week by Chandler as he ran for a career high 198 yards to go along with two touchdowns. Nice time to be riding on that big performance as the Tar Heels get set to visit Georgia Tech and Chandler is now up to third in the ACC in rushing. Expect even bigger things ahead for Chandler as the fifth-year veteran is just starting to kick it into gear. This is a veteran of many SEC battles that is just now getting used to the different defensive schemes in the ACC as well as a different offense. As an every-down back now Chandler is in play in both cash and GPP formats.

Deuce Vaughn (Kansas State) Opp @ OKST ($6.6K DK)

Kansas State continued to use the ground and pound last week against Nevada being led by super sophomore Vaughn who finished with a career high 127 yards and a touchdown on 23 carries. The team ran the ball 48 times while attempting just 13 passes without injured QB Skylar Thompson and should attempt to do the same this week. The 100-yard game was Vaughn’s fifth straight dating back to last season – the longest K-State streak since Darren Sproles in 2013. This is a GPP only play as Vaughn will be tasked in facing an Oklahoma State rush defense that is ranked #28 and only allowing 95.3 yards per game and 2.56 yards per carry.

Alton McCaskill (Houston) Opp vs. Navy ($3.5K DK)

The true freshman emerged as the lead back in the Rice game and the rest is history. Rushed for 114 yards against Grambling plus two touchdowns to add to the three he scored against Rice. This is a violent runner that will also be involved in the passing game catching four passes for 51 yards in Week 2 giving Clayon Tune a reliable checkdown option. McCaskill is in play as a strong Cash or GPP value this week against a Navy rush defense allowing 138.5 yards per game

Rahmir Johnson (Nebraska) Opp @ MSU ($3.0K DK)

Redshirt freshman made the most of his first career start last weekend as he compiled 90 total yards of offense on 14 touches against #3 Oklahoma. Now with Gabe Ervin suffering a season ending injury in the third quarter of that game Johnson looks to respond to the challenge against #20 Michigan State. He saw the bulk of the snaps against Oklahoma due to being the hot hand and should get first crack against the Spartans, but Markese Stepp and Sevion Morrison should also get touches making Johnson more of a GPP value play at only $3K.

Also Consider:

Chris Rodriguez – Kentucky ($7.5K DK) Cash/GPP

Leddie Brown- West Virginia ($6.9K DK) Cash/GPP

Kevin Harris – South Carolina ($5.3K DK) GPP

Kennedy Brooks – Oklahoma ($4.8K DK) GPP

Jahmyr Gibbs- Georgia Tech ($5.2K DK) GPP

WIDE RECEIVERS

Josh Downs (North Carolina) Opp@ GT ($8.3K DK)

Eight catches and a career high 203 yards and two touchdowns in the Tar Heels big 59-39 win over Virginia. Through three games he has been North Carolina’s main weapon through the air. Downs went for 123 yards on eight catches against Virginia Tech he then had eight more against Georgia State before the Virginia explosion. So Dyami Brown’s replacement now has 399 yards, 24 catches and four touchdowns in his three college football starts- lock him in again

Wan’Dale Robinson (Kentucky) Opp @SCAR ($6.0K DK)

The transfer from Nebraska has been everything expected of him and maybe even more for Kentucky in the air and on the ground. He has 18 catches for 337 yards and two touchdowns and three carries for 73 yards on the ground. This is one of the most consistent receivers in the nation as he now has three straight 100-yard games and at least five catches in every contest. Expect to see more of the same against South Carolina.

Jadon Haselwood (Oklahoma) Opp vs. WV ($5.0K)

Gaining Spencer Rattler’s trust more and more each week, Haselwood has now been targeted 20 times in three games. In last week’s game against Nebraska, he saw nine targets and brought in six catches for 61 yards. The trust from his quarterback will mean more and more opportunities in the passing game and Haselwood could be in for a big game against a West Virginia defense that is allowing 205 yards a game in the air.

Jalen Nailor (Michigan State) Opp vs. NEB ($5.8K DK)

Michigan State is now 3-0 for the first time since 2015 and has scored at least 38 points in the first three games since 2005. Jayden Reed ($7.9K) and Nailor have combined for 22 catches for 418 yards and six touchdowns for the Spartans. Both are in play against Nebraska, but Nailor is $1.2K cheaper and looked like the best receiver on the team last week against Miami (FL) when he caught four passes for 82 yards and two touchdowns.

Josh Vann (South Carolina) Opp UK ($3.8K DK)

Through three games Vann is second among SEC pass catchers and fourth nationally with 28.2 yards per catch. His 282 yards are fourth in the league and 25th nationally. The former highly touted four-star recruit is finally proving that he can be a legitimate WR1 and the Gamecocks most dependable target. The big play receiver torched the Georgia secondary for 128 yards and a touchdown on three receptions last week putting him in play as a value GPP pick against Kentucky.

Nathaniel Dell- Houston ($6.1K) GPP

Samori Toure – Nebraska ($5.9K DK) Cash/GPP

Jayden Reed – Michigan State ($7.0K DK) Cash/GPP
