QUARTERBACKS

Max Duggan (TCU) Opp @ TTU ($8.2K)

Never feels safe to use Duggan but he always seems to pull out enough fantasy points in the end to keep you coming back. Leads TCU with 899 passing yards on 61-107 (62.6%) passing with eight touchdowns and two interceptions. Duggan is dual threat and has 191 yards rushing on 36 carries and two more scores. This is a positive matchup since Texas Tech is allowing 268.2 yards in the air in a game that Vegas says will be the second highest scoring (61) of the slate.

Bryce Young (Alabama) Opp @TA&M ($9.2K)

Young has emerged as a potential Heisman favorite and through five games has amassed 1,365 yards with 17 touchdowns and only two interceptions. He’s completed 73% of his passes with a 185.6 passer rating. Texas A&M defense is no pushover but with am implied team total of 34.25 chances are that points will be coming from Young’s arm plus he’s the safest bet out of a mediocre group of QBs.

Henry Colombi (Texas Tech) Opp TCU ($6.9K)

Making his third straight start after Tyler Slough went down with a broken collarbone. Through his first two starts Colombi has completed 40 of 57 passes for 580 yards, three touchdowns and one pick. As a dual threat quarterback (251 yards/4 career touchdowns) Colombi is in a nice spot as the TCU defense is allowing 204 yards per game and a 5.1 YPA on the ground plus 193 yards through the air with an 8.7 YPA. Add in a home game at Jones AT&T Stadium and Colombi becomes the top value quarterback of the slate.

Others to consider:

  • Dustin Crum (Kent) $6.8 GPP Value *will be popular
  • Kedon Slovis (USC) $7.2K GPP
  • Adrian Martinez (Nebraska) $7.7K
  • Cameron Rising (Utah) $5.3K Punt

RUNNING BACKS

Brad Roberts (Air Force) Opp WYO ($6.7K)

This slate is loaded with running back talent, but the top overall play is Roberts, the leader of the top running team in the nation. Roberts is 14th in the FBS in rushing averaging 108 yards per game with five touchdowns. Air Force is a microcosm of Roberts running game as they grind down their opponents and have them calling for mercy by the end of the first half. Last weekend Roberts ran for 142 yards and two touchdowns against New Mexico as he kept pounding the rock down their throats.

Marquez Cooper (Kent) Opp BUFF ($6.3K)

Sophomore Cooper is fifth in the MAC with 367 rushing yards for a 73.4 game average. Behind a much-improved offensive line Cooper ran off 31 carries for 120 yards and two touchdowns last weekend against Bowling Green. He is becoming a true work horse in one of the MAC’s most explosive offenses and finds himself in another favorable matchup against Buffalo. Lock him in.

Chris Rodriguez Jr (Kentucky) Opp LSU ($6.8K)

It may be tough to fit three $6-$7K runners in your main lineup but if its possible Rodriguez is the third of a solid running back group on this slate. Kentucky has the 36th best rushing offense in the nation with 191 yards per game and they are running the ball over 35 times a contest. The RB room is led by Rodriguez and his SEC best 124.2 yards per game on the ground which is also the sixth best in the FBS. His last two weeks have been monster games- a 26 carry and 144-yard explosion at South Carolina and then last week 99 yards and a touchdown against Florida. LSU is next team up…

Xavier Williams (Kent) Opp BUFF ($3.3K)

The top value back on the slate, Williams is the secondary fullback to Cooper but can pile up yards when he gets the chance. Even when Cooper was ripping apart Bowling Green last week with his 31 carries Williams was able to contribute 49 yards on 11 attempts. The week before he carried the rock 14 times against Maryland and another 13 times in week 2. If you need some value here, you can do worse than Willaims at $3.3K

Others to consider:

  • Brian Robinson (Alabama) $7.6K Cash/GPP
  • Zach Evans (TCU) $8.4K GPP
  • Kevin Marks (Buffalo) $5.9 GPP
  • Hassan Haskins (Michigan) $5.4K GPP
  • TJ Pledger (Utah) $5.0K GPP *check status of Micah Bernard

WIDE RECEIVER

Drake London (USC) Opp UTAH ($9.0K)

Will go down as one of the great USC receivers. Averaging 30.2 DK points a game with the largest target share in the nation and made the switch from the slot to the outside seamlessly.    Leads the nation with 48 catches and 670 yards receiving and will be a matchup nightmare for the young and small Utah secondary.

Wan’Dale Robinson (Kentucky) Opp LSU ($7.3K)

Playing at an elite level. The SEC’s leading receiver has brought in 29 receptions for 469 yards and three touchdowns. He has also added 78-yards rushing on just four attempts. Played a big part in Kentucky’s huge upset of Florida finishing with four catches for 65 yards and should take advantage of an LSU secondary that is allowing 248 yards per game in the air.

Quian Williams (Buffalo) Opp @KENT ($6.0K)

Target monster and always a great DK play due to the PPR format. The Alpha of the Buffalo receiving unit with 31 receptions for 477 yards and a touchdown. Lack of touchdowns keeps his price down giving Williams a safe floor especially against a defense like Kent that is allowing 259.4 receiving yards per game.

Jahleel Billingsley (Alabama) Opp @TA&M ($4.4K)

Starting to get comfortable the Bill O’Brien offense. Was a big matchup problem for Ole Miss last weekend and he was targeted six times catching four passes for 47 yards. Billingsley now has 10 targets and has caught nine of them over the last two weeks. Appears out of the Saban doghouse and at $4.4K makes for a nice value spot on the team with second highest implied score of the slate- 34.25.

Brant Kuithe (Utah) Opp @ USC ($3.9K)

With Cameron Rising taking the helm at quarterback you can expect him to lean on the Junior tight end Kuithe who has seen 24 targets with 17 receptions and 163 yards on the season.

Demond Demas (Texas A&M) Opp BAMA ($3.0K)

Total dart here but Demas saw his first real significant playing time against New Mexico three weeks ago and ended up seeing six targets with two catches for 100 yards and touchdown. Has had eight more targets over the last two weeks with three catches.

Others to consider:

  • Kayshon Boutte (LSU) $7.8K Cash/GPP
  • John Metchie (Alabama) $6.4K Cashg/GPP
  • Jameson Williams (Alabama) $7.1K GPP
  • Kaylon Geiger Sr. (Texas Tech) $6.6K GPP
  • Tre Turner (Virginia Tech) $5.5K GPP
  • Ainias Smith (Texas A&M) $4.3K GPP
  • Braden Lenzy (Notre Dame) $3.9K GPP Value
