TOP GUARDS

Grant Sherfield (Nevada) Opp UW ($8.3K DK)

Part of one of the nation’s best backcourts with Desmond Cambridge, Sherfield is coming off a career high 31 points on 11-of-17 shooting, including 3-of-6 from beyond the arc against George Mason. He also had a team high six rebounds and six assists showing that he is not just a one-dimensional fantasy player. Sherfield has had an exceptional start to the season as he leads the team in minutes (33.3), scoring (16.8) and usage (28.6%) and has either made or assisted on 41% of all Nevada field goals over the last three games. He is in play tonight with the second highest team implied of the slate.

Jared Rhoden G/F (Seton Hall) Opp @CAL ($7.0K DK)

The senior is coming off a career high 29 points in last second loss to Ohio State on Monday. The preseason All-Big East first team selection is the only Pirate in double digit scoring on the season averaging 17.7 points plus a team high 6.7 rebounds and 30% usage rate.

Myreon Jones G/F (Florida) Opp OSU ($7.2K DK/6.5 FD)

The junior transfer from Penn State was one of the top long-range shooters in the Big Ten last season and hasn’t missed a beat with the Gators averaging six three-point attempts per game. He is the team leader in minutes (29.0) and is second in usage (20.5%) and points (13.0) to go along with a 26.4 DKFP average. Expect a tough game tonight with Ohio State with Jones being heavily involved.

Other Top Guards to Consider:

Paul Scruggs (Xavier) $9.7K

Desmond Cambridge Jr (Nevada) $7.1K

Colby Jones G/F (Xavier) $8.8K

James Akinjo (Baylor) $8.5K DK/8.1 FD

VALUE GUARDS

Terrell Brown Jr (Washington) Opp @NEV ($4.7K)

DK keeps missing the ball on Brown’s pricing making him a Must Play again tonight. The transfer guard from Arizona notched a career high 32 points on 13-of-18 shooting last night in a win over South Dakota State in day two of the Mammoth Sports Construction Crossover Classic. Brown was attacking the rim all night hitting big shot after big shot scoring 21 points in the second half including 15 consecutive Husky points during a four-minute stretch. Brown has scored at least 20 points in five of UW’s six game and with tonight’s game with Nevada being the highest expected score of the slate the guard is a lock as the top value.

Tyrese Hunter (Iowa State) Opp @XAV ($5.0K)

Hunter is the second-highest ranked recruit in program history and has been the starting point guard since day one. An exciting player Hunter will need to penetrate and dish hoping to create open looks from beyond the arc tonight since Xavier’s 2-point defense percentage ranks second nationally. Still not a bad price for a player that is averaging nearly 30 minutes a game with a 12.8-point average and 32.1 DKFP.

PJ Fuller (Washington) Opp @NEV ($3.4K)

For the second straight game Fuller came off the bench and gave the Huskies a huge boost with 14 points in last night’s win over South Dakota State. On Monday he entered the game to hit a quick trio of 3-pointers turning a first-half deficit into a lead and UW never trailed again against George Mason. With a 22% usage rate and 10.5-point average in only 22 minutes a game Fuller is the top punt play in what is expected to be the night highest scoring contest.

Other Value Guards to Consider:

Izaiah Brockington (ISU) $5.3K

Daejon Davis (UW) $5.1K

Bryce Aiken (SHU) $4.3K *Cale out

Adam Kunkel (XAV) $3.8K

TOP FORWARDS

Colin Castleton (Florida) Opp OSU ($8.6K DK/8.5 FD

Castleton vs. EJ Liddell will be a big-time matchup tonight. Of course, Liddell is in play but at $9.6K I will take the $1K salary reduction and go with the big Gator who is coming off a 16-point, eight rebound performance in a blowout of California last night. Castleton continues to expand his game and is now bringing All-American numbers consistently on a nightly basis averaging 17 points, 9.8 rebounds and 3.5 blocks a game.

Jalen Duren (Memphis) Opp @VT ($7.9K DK/8.6 FD)

The freshman is coming off an incredible week as he averaged 17.5 points, 13.5 rebounds and 5.5 blocks plus he shot 73.3% from the floor in two Memphis wins. He was totally dominant against Western Kentucky scoring 22 points, 19 rebounds and five blocks in the victory becoming the first freshman in over 10 years to have a 20-points, 19 rebound and five block game. Yet DK drops his price from $8.4K to $7.9K?

Justyn Mutts (Virginia Tech) Opp MEM ($7.6K DK/6.1 FD

Mutts is playing on another level right now for the Hokies. The 6’7” forward is playing awesome two-way basketball and over the last three games he’s posted a 3.4% steal rate and 2.0% block rate along with eating up every shot he sees on the defensive end with a 23.2% defensive rebound rate. He is one of the best defensive players in the ACC and will finally see a competitive game tonight against Memphis that will give him more minutes to add to his peripheral totals.

Other Top Forwards to Consider:

EJ Liddell (OSU) $9.6K DK/8.8 FD

Jared Rhoden G/F (SH) $7.0K

Kendall Brown G/F (BAY) $8.0K DK/7.0 FD

Colby Jones G/F (XAV) $8.8K

Jamal Bey (UW) $6.1K

VALUE FORWARDS

Warren Washington (Nevada) Opp UW ($5.5K)

The big center had a breakout season last year coming over from Oregon State especially the second half of the season where he had three double-doubles. He has picked up where he left off and leads the team with a 6.2 rebound rate plus is averaging 11.8 points with a 21.2% usage rate and 24.5 DKFP.

Jack Nunge (Xavier) Opp ISU ($4.8K)

The longtime Iowa Hawkeye transferred to Xavier and is now averaging 9.8 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. He will be the first player of the bench and anchors the Xavier defense. Nunge had a huge night two games ago against Ohio State with a double-double scoring 14 points with 14 rebounds and adding three steals and two blocks.

Will Baker (Nevada) Opp UW ($3.3K)

Baker and Washington form a Twin Towers and both 7-footers should eat tonight against the Huskies. Baker, a former Texas Longhorn, is a lefty that can shoot, pass, and dribble and should have an advantage of Washington center Nate Roberts getting him in foul trouble (6.3 fouls per 40) and off the floor. Baker is the top overall value at forward tonight.

Value Forwards to Consider:

Nate Johnson (Xavier) $4.3K

Justin Ahrens G/F (OSU) $3.6K DK/4.7 FD

DeAndre Williams (MEM) $4.1K DK/5.8 FD
