Happy Saturday! Let’s enjoy the day and win some money in DFS! There’s a couple really good offenses to load up on today. Spoiler alert: Cincinnati is my favorite tonight against Pittsburgh’s Mitch Keller.

Below, you’ll find some of my favorite value bats for the day, so if you want to pay up for Brandon Woodruff or Julio Urías, you don’t have to do so by sacrificing production from your offense players!

All Sites

Carlos Santana, 1B KC ($2,800 FD/$3,400 DK/$9 Yahoo) - Kwang Hyun Kim has been tough on lefties this year, but righties have been a different story. While lefties have hit just .143 with a .213 wOBA, righties have a .258 average and .318 wOBA. Santana has hit lefties at a .301 clip with a .762 OPS. Santana loves lefties and he’s hit safely in four straight games. Santana is a nice GPP play today, as he’s due for a home run.

Yahoo

Carlos Correa, SS HOU ($11) - BvP play of the day! Correa is 11-for-20 with three home runs against Minnesota’s Michael Pineda. Additionally, Correa has homered once every 17.3 at-bats at home this year, good for an .853 OPS. Over the last two weeks, Correa is hitting .261 with a .753 OPS and he has a .286 batting average against Minnesota in 2021. Also, Pineda’s 4.43 ERA and .267 BAA are higher than his 3.67 ERA at home and .249 BAA.

Myles Straw, OF CLE ($9) - Detroit’s Tyler Alexander has allowed a .308 batting average and .380 wOBA to right-handed hitters in 2021. Straw’s numbers against lefties aren’t overwhelmingly positive, but he’s hitting .296 over his last 27 at-bats, and he’s swiped two bases in that span. In August, he’s hitting .318 through 22 at-bats, and since coming to Cleveland, he’s hit safely in five of seven games. The batting average hasn’t been there of late, but he has just a 6.7 percent soft contact rate against left-handed pitching in his last 18 plate appearances. Ignore the average, and trust the other data and hot bat.

FanDuel

Mike Moustakas, 2B/3B CIN ($2,500) - Moustakas came back from the injured list with a bang, going 3-for-4 three doubles and two RBI. He gets a tasty matchup this evening against Mitch Keller, who has especially struggled against lefties, and Moose has punished Pittsburgh pitching this year. How much? Well, how about a .522 batting average with a .957 slugging percentage and 1.577 OPS! Yeah, he’s crushed this team, and overall in 2021, he has a .907 OPS against righties.

Eric Hosmer, 1B SD ($3,200) - Hosmer is 2-for-4 with a home run against Arizona’s Taylor Widener and Hosmer is playing very well of late. Over the last two weeks, he’s hitting .343, albeit just a .782 OPS. His home numbers are better than his road numbers, and Arizona’s Widener’s numbers are worse against left-handed hitters. I like slotting Hosmer into my lineup for tonight’s slate.

DraftKings

Garrett Hampson, 2B/OF COL ($2,600) - Hampson has hit lefties at a .311 clip with a .919 OPS this year. Of course, this game is at home, and his numbers are inflated at home, hitting .315 with an .882 OPS! Hampson has been cold of late, but he’s on the best side of his splits tonight, and Jesús Luzardo has a 6.70 ERA this year. I like Hampson tonight a good bit.

Tyler O’Neill, OF STL ($3,400) - You play O’Neill versus right-handers, it’s that simple. He’s hit righties at a .287 clip with an .871 OPS, and 16 of his 18 home runs have come against right-handers. Furthermore, he gets to face off against Kansas City’s Brad Keller, who has allowed a .311 batting average to righties and an OPS of 862. Fire up O’Neill and don’t look back.
