Tonight’s main slate begins at 7:05 pm EST and features nine games. There is one game in particular that is loaded with value, and I found myself routinely going back to that game for my value plays. You’ll figure out who those players are when you continue reading! For the best value bats to round your cash and GPPs lineups on FanDuel, DraftKings, and/or Yahoo, keep on reading today’s Value Vault!

All Sites

Hunter Dozier, 3B/OF KC ($2,500 FD/$2,600 DK/$15 Yahoo) - The Royals are going to put up some runs against Griffin Jax, and I’m confident in that. Jax has a 6.78 ERA on the season, but in eight road appearances this year, his ERA sits at 7.32! He’s allowed 18 earned runs and seven home runs over his last five starts, and he’s posted an 8.18 ERA against the Royals in 11 innings this season. Dozier has a 1.037 OPS over the last week and an .849 OPS against Minnesota in 2021.

Christian Walker, 1B ARI ($2,400 FD/$2,800 DK/$8 Yahoo) - You’re going to find out over the course of the article, but this game is loaded with value. Walker has six hits over his last three games and has an .864 OPS over the last week. Walker is 9-for-20 with two home runs and a 1.350 OPS in his career against Colorado’s Antonio Senzatela.

Yahoo

Eloy Jiminez, OF CWS ($15) - Detroit’s Matt Manning has struggled with right-handers this season, allowing them to hit .311 with a .364 wOBA. Well, not only has Jimenez posted a .922 OPS over his last 23 at-bats, but he has an .801 OPS against righties this season. To go one step further, he has a 1.069 OPS against Detroit pitching this season. I’ll take Jimenez for $15 on Yahoo any day of the week against Detroit.

Raimel Tapia, OF COL ($9) - Tapia is 8-for-13 in his career against Zac Gallen, which is a .615 batting average! SIX FIF-FREAKING-TEEN! Like most Colorado hitters, Tapia has been better at home in 2021, but I’ll take my chances here. The Colorado outfielder has a .771 OPS over the last two weeks, and against the Diamondbacks in 2021, he’s hit .315 with a .362 OBP.

FanDuel

Myles Straw, OF CLE ($2,900)  - Straw is 2-for-5 with two home runs against Jordan Lyles, and Lyles has allowed a 1.98 HR/9 mark this year, which would be his worst mark since 2017. Straw has a .748 OPS against right-handers this season, and he’s seeing the ball well of late, posting a .387 batting average and .957 OPS over his last 31 at-bats. Also, for some extra points, 24 of his 29 stolen bases this year have come against right-handers. Take that for what it’s worth.

Ketel Marte, 2B/OF ARI ($3,400) - Colorado’s Antonio Senzatela has allowed a 4.27 ERA on the road this season, and while he’s been good against Arizona overall, Marte has his number. Marte is 10-for-23 with a .417 wOBA in his career against Senzatela. The talented Arizona hitter has a .285 batting average and .786 OPS against righties this season, and he’s also sporting a.304 batting average at home. Lastly, he’s hit Colorado pitching at a .353 clip this season with a 1.071 OPS.

DraftKings

Sam Hilliard, OF COL ($2,400) - Arizona’s Zac Gallen has allowed a .251 batting average to lefties, which is far worse than his .211 mark to righties. Despite struggling of late, Hilliard is hitting .279 over the last 15 days, and he does have two home runs and seven RBI against the Diamondbacks this season. He cannot be trusted for cash games, however.

Harrison Bader, OF STL ($2,900) - We are going back to the well with Bader. He’s 4-for-5 with a home run in his career against Adrian Sampson. He’s posted a .782 OPS against righties this season, but over the past two weeks, he’s posted a 1.062 OPS. Bader has been excellent of late, and he’s been excellent against the Chicago Cubs, posting a .415 average and 1.153 OPS across 53 at-bats.
