Another day, another slate of MLB player props over on Underdog Fantasy! A couple of the game’s best hitters stand out on today’s board, and we’ll look to continue the momentum with these player props! It’s hard to ignore Carlos Correa and Mike Trout against southpaws, and Los Angeles’ Mookie Betts finds himself in a great spot against Humberto Castellanos’ reverse splits. We’ll be looking for some overs tonight for my favorite MLB player props over on Underdog Fantasy for Thursday, May 26th.

Top Underdog MLB Player Props May 26

Carlos Correa OVER 6.5 fantasy points

Daniel Lynch allows a ton of hard contact, as seen by his 16th percentile hard hit rate and 12th percentile barrel rate. Carlos Correa has a .888 OPS against southpaws this season, and over his last 60 at-bats overall, he’s struck out just eight times, while posting a .383 average with a .550 slugging percentage. Furthermore, Lynch has allowed righties to hit .292 with a .362 wOBA over the last two seasons.

Mike Trout OVER 1.5 Total Bases

Yes, Trout is 0-for-10 in his career about Ryu, but those at-bats came in 2013, 2014, and 2019. Really, he hasn’t seen much of Ryu, but he’s seen a lot of other southpaws, and he’s crushed them. Trout is hitting .441 with a 1.460 OPS against southpaws this season, and in his home park, he’s hitting .364 with a 1.265 OPS. Well, what if we combine the two? At home versus a lefty, he’s hitting .500 (7-for-14) with three extra-base hits, and a 1.524 OPS. I love BvP numbers, but it’s been over two full calendar years since he’s seen Ryu, and I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that Ryu has allowed a .317 batting average to right-handed hitters this season. Trout has exceeded this mark in five of his last seven contests.

Mookie Betts OVER 1.5 Total Bases

Mookie Betts is red hot at the moment, hitting .440 with an insane 1.080 slugging percentage over his last seven games. HE HAS FOUR HOME RUNS IN HIS LAST 25 AT-BATS! He’s hit safely in seven of his last nine games, and against right-handers in 2022, he’s sporting a quality .604 slugging percentage and 1.001 OPS. Also, he has a .303 average and 1.005 OPS on the road this season. That matches up nicely against Humberto Castellanos, who has struggled against right-handed hitters (.286 BAA, .340 wOBA) and when pitching at home (4.34 ERA, 3 HR allowed in 18.2 IP).
