Here are my personal core plays for this weekend's tournament.  These players listed below are my three favorite top tier, middle tier and value tier players for both DraftKings and Fanduel.  They will be at the core of all my lineups for this weekend's RSM Classic and then I'll use my playbook to fill out the remaining spots in my lineup.

Make sure you read my full PGA DFS Playbook for the RSM Classic before using these core plays.  You can also take a look at my Weekly Tournament Projections at any time.

As I mentioned in the playbook, this is the last full field event of the 2021 calendar year.  It was great to see the PGA Tour get back into the swing of things.  We got four major championships where they were originally scheduled and a fantastic Ryder Cup.  I’m just going to take a moment to reflect on getting somewhat back to normalcy.

This tournament is pretty similar to what we’ve seen over the last couple weeks.  It’s a full field event but pretty below average field overall.  We’ve got just one top 10 player and just two more in the top 20.  Personally, I’m going to play cash games and enter a few small field tournaments but that’s about it.  This is not the week to blow your bankroll.

This is the week to go balanced with your approach with the lack of top tier talent.  I’m going to start my lineups with either Cameron Smith or Corey Conners.  I’ll then dip into the mid-tier with Kevin Kisner or Brendon Todd.  We will likely wrap up lineups with a combination of Robert Streb, Henrik Norlander, Alex Smalley and Denny McCarthy.  You can build a pretty solid lineup without dipping into the 6K range too much.

I think teaching DFS players using these core lineups is way more valuable to our subscribers, it forces them to use the playbooks and not just copy and paste example lineups.  A set of these players will be in each one of my lineups this weekend and then a mix of players from my playbook will fill out the rest.

Good Luck!
