Do not let Friday the 13th freak you out, use all the great tools and intel available on Fantasy Alarm for tonight's massive 14-game slate. Offense spiked on Thursday night, so identifying advantageous match-ups tonight could result in strong builds for DFS. Heed all the information and trust your gut. Best of luck!

Top Tier

J.D. Martinez, Boston - OF ($5,100 on DraftKings, $4,000 on FanDuel)

Targeting bats in tonight's contest with the highest run total (11) on the board makes sense. While it seems like one would prefer left-handed hitters versus a right-handed Spenser Watkins, he's a reverse splits guy giving up 1.6 home runs per nine to right-handed hitters and a .492 slugging percentage against them. Enter Martinez boasting a .450/.500/.600 slash line his last 22 plate appearances with a robust 197 wRC+. He's hit 16 home runs this year off of right-handed pitching in 267 at-bats with a .296/.361/.562 slash and a .266 isolated power providing a solid floor with home run upside tonight.

Willy Adames, Milwaukee - SS ($5,500 on DraftKings, $3,300 on FanDuel)

Segue alert, the Brewers feasted on Cubs pitching earlier this week and landed in Pittsburgh hoping to stay hot. Mitch Keller opposes them tonight but he's given up six home runs this year to right-handed hitters of 134 faced and a .296/.391/.522 slash line to them. Adames’ breakout season remains in progress and he's hitting .346/.393/.684 his last six games over 28 plate appearances with two home runs, five RBI and a stolen base. Versus right-handed pitching he owns a .271 isolated power for the season with a .962 OPS and 13 home runs in 203 at-bats.

Mid Tier

Paul Goldschmidt, St. Louis - 1B ($4,700 on DraftKings, $3,600 on FanDuel)

Hot hitter with past success in this match-up equals a recipe for DFS success. Goldschmidt owns a .318/.444/.500 slash line his last 27 plate appearances with a home run and five RBI. He faces Mike Minor tonight against whom he's 5-for-9 with a double and two home runs fueling a .446 xBA, a 1.161 xSLG along with an ominous .666 xwOBA through 10 plate appearances in their careers. As an added bonus, Goldschmidt possesses an average exit velocity of 98.8 MPH in his batted ball events with a 24.8 launch angle. Giddy up.

Cody Bellinger, Los Angeles Dodgers - OF ($4,100 on DraftKings), 1B/OF ($3,200 on FanDuel)

Yes, Bellinger disappointed DFS enthusiasts on Thursday, but this may move those burned by him away tonight. Tylor Megill started strong this season but he's giving up 2.5 home runs per nine inning versus left-handed hitters and will be backed up by a tired bullpen coming off of a doubleheader on Thursday. Bellinger's homered four times his last five contests with a .286/.348/.905 slash line, a .619 isolated power and of his 13 batted ball events recorded three barrels (23.1 percent) and eight hard hits (61.8 percent).

Brandon Lowe, Tampa Bay - 2B ($4,600 on DraftKings), 2B/OF ($3,800 on FanDuel)

Over his last seven games accruing 30 plate appearances, Lowe's batting .360/.433/.800 with seven runs, three home runs, 10 RBI and a stolen base. He's notched a .440 isolated power with 20 batted ball events yielding six barrels (30 percent) and 11 hard hits (55 percent) facing Michael Pineda, who works in the strike zone and serves up home runs to left-handed power hitters. Good enough for me.

Bargain Bats

Frank Schwindel, Chicago Cubs - 1B ($2,000 on DraftKings), OF ($2,400 on FanDuel)

Note the different eligibility on each site, along with the near minimum price point of slugger Schwindel. He's only recorded 10 plate appearances versus southpaws this year but produced a double and two home runs fueling a .556/.600/1.333 slash line with a .778 isolated power along with a 392 wRC+. Adding in his minor league numbers, five home runs in 59 at-bats, he's averaging a home run every 9.7 at-bats against left-handed pitching this season. Jesús Luzardo pitches tonight for the Marlins and averages 2.6 home runs per nine innings facing right-handed batters. Yahtzee!

Brett Phillips, Tampa Bay - OF ($2,000 on DraftKings, $2,400 on FanDuel)

Raise your hand if knowing Phillips hit three home runs his last five games in only 15 plate appearances, including two grand slams. Liar. Anyways, he's a boom or bust player evidenced by his 46.7 strikeout rate in this sample along with a .714 isolated power with a 71.4 hard hit rate. But, if he runs into a "Big Mike” meatball tonight, Phillips returns four times value in tournament play.

Anthony Santander, Baltimore - OF ($2,300 on DraftKings, $3,000 on FanDuel)

Bonus offering since he cratered last night, but Santander at his DraftKings price in Fenway could be a steal tonight. He's launched four home runs his last five games and owns a .349/.391/.674 slash line his last 46 plate appearances with a .326 isolated power. Remember the 11 game run total and target Santander with confidence.
