Tonight features a 10-game slate but there's some weather risk. Please monitor any cancellations before locking in lineups this evening. With this in mind, here's tonight's value vault with intriguing upside options for Wednesday night.

Both Sites

Garrett Hampson, Colorado - 2B/OF ($2,500 on DraftKings, $2,800 on FanDuel)

Batting lead-off with dual eligibility on a heater makes for a value vault gem. Hampson's launched three home runs in his last six games and owns a .324/.343/.676 slash line over the last two weeks spanning 35 plate appearances in 11 games. It's tough targeting Rockies on the road but more at-bats along with a shot at either a home run or a stolen base, or best case scenario, one of each puts Hampson firmly in play this evening.

Bradley Zimmer, Cleveland - OF ($2,700 on DraftKings, $2,400 on FanDuel)

Not quite as hot as our top option, but Zimmer's in a terrific spot facing a pitcher averaging 2.4 home runs per nine innings against left-handed hitters. As for Zimmer, he's produced four home runs which traveled at least 440 feet since August ninth and he's 2-for-5 versus Griffin Jax with  a home run, a .420 xBA, 1.062 xSLG and .609 xwOBA with four batted ball events averaging 100.4 MPH.

DraftKings Only

Frank Schwindel, Chicago Cubs - 1B ($3,400)

Getting him for this price point should be criminal, but it's also to our advantage. Since joining the Cubs in August, Schwindel leads the majors in batting average (.361), tied for second in slugging (.667) and third in OPS (1.025). He's surging over the last two weeks with a robust .400 average through 54 plate appearances with five home runs and 15RBI. Plus, he rakes versus southpaws entering tonight's tilt with a .429/.535/.886 slash with six extra-base hits in only 43 plate appearances this year.

Carlos Hernández, Kansas City - SP ($5,300)

Understanding Oakland remains in playoff contention helps, but are they a juggernaut? Kansas City pivoted from Mike Minor to Hernandez tonight on the mound and he's won each of his last five decisions since July 29th logging 48.1 innings with a 1.68 ERA, 32:13 K:BB and 0.93 WHIP in them. He's due for some regression but for anyone searching for an upside SP2 tonight, this may be your guy.

FanDuel Only

Cody Bellinger, Los Angeles Dodgers - OF ($2,400)

While the fantasy community kicks dirt on the 2019 National League MVP. Has he been good this year? Absolutely not. However, he's in a terrific match-up owning tremendous results against tonight's starter, Merrill Kelly. First, Kelly's making his first start since August 11th and Bellinger's 4-for-12 in past meetings with a double, two home runs, a .384 xBA, .962 plus a .556 xwOBA. It's risky but do not overlook him in a smash spot tonight.

Myles Straw, Cleveland - OF ($2,900)

Searching for a safer floor with upside? Through 37 games with Cleveland, Straw owns a .291/.397/.408 slash line against right-handed pitching in 121 plate appearances with six doubles and two home runs. More importantly, he's stolen nine bases in this sample and they score well in DFS. Plus, he's swiped five bases his last 13 contests during 56 plate appearances. And, Griffin Jax allows 2.6 home runs per nine innings versus right-handed hitters. Long story short, Straw could be a very sneaky play on this slate with everyone chasing power, zigging for speed.
