A full 15-game slate on Friday night with a multitude of games affecting playoff races. It will be all hands on deck in the bullpens, so targeting the right hitters may decide GPP standings. With this in mind, here's tonight's recommended hitters but please consult our value vault, pitching coach and DFS playbook before finishing your MLB builds tonight. Best of luck.

Top Tier

Bryce Harper, Philadelphia - OF ($6,100 on DraftKings, $4,400 on FanDuel)

Harper's carrying his team with a .395/.519/.977 slash the last two weeks over 13 games and 55 plate appearances. He's generated 15 runs, five home runs, 10 RBI and four stolen bases. His ridiculous .581 isolated power and .589 weighted on-base average (wOBA) stand out amongst his peers. Plus, his 35 batted ball events in this sample includes 11 barrels (31.4 barrel percentage) and 19 hard hits (54.3 hard hit percentage). He's only recorded two career hits off of Taijuan Walker, but one left the yard and Harper's seeing beach balls right at the dish.

Jose Altuve, Houston - 2B ($5,000 on DraftKings, $4,200 on FanDuel)

It's always been death, taxes and Altuve versus southpaws in DFS. Although his power production remains down in the second half, his home park suits his swing. He's hitting .407/.454/.519 his last seven games over 31 plate appearances with 11 runs and three doubles while driving in three. Need a home run at this price point but his past success versus Madison Bumgarner could get provide one since Altuve's hit two in 23 previous at-bats facing him with eight hits overall, a .391 xBA, a .812 xSLG plus an xwOBA over five hundred.

Mid Tier

Andrew Benintendi, Kansas City - OF ($3,200 on DraftKings, $3,600 on FanDuel)

Over the last two weeks, Benintendi owns a .471/.509/.784 slash line with five runs, three home runs and 19 RBI through 57 plate appearances. Yes, the runs and home runs could be higher, but he gets Chris Flexen and his road WHIP of 1.40 along with a .293 batting average allowed versus left-handed hitters this year in a home game putting Beni in a potential smash spot this evening.

George Springer, Toronto - OF ($4,900 on DraftKings, $3,900 on FanDuel)

Showing signs of life, Springer's hit safely in five of his last six contests and launched a home run. Getting studs below retail in DFS can pay off, but he's a tournament only play. Our intrigue lies in past production versus Michael Pineda. Springer's 10-for-22 in previous match-ups producing three doubles and three home runs with a .350 expected batting average, .857 expected slugging while owning a 95.6 MPH average exit velocity facing him, plus the bullpen options when trailing for the Twins may pave the way for the Blue Jays reaching double digits in runs.

Bargain Bats

Jesús Sánchez, Miami - OF ($2,800 on DraftKings, $2,900 on FanDuel)

Those searching for power upside at a ridiculously reduced price point, look no further than Sanchez of the Marlins. He's launched five home runs his last six games spanning 26 plate appearances driving in 10 runs and resulting in a robust .333/.385/1.042 slash line. Yes, his slugging percentage alone, not his OPS, resides over one thousand. He's also generated 19 batted ball events in this sample with seven barrels (36.8 barrel percentage) and nine hard hits (47.4 percent) in them. Those pinching pennies in their build can build a sweet mini-stack with Lewin Díaz in this contest as well.

Austin Hays, Baltimore - OF ($2,900 on DraftKings and FanDuel)

Not only does he get a southpaw, even though it's Chris Sale, Hays remains hot, launching six home runs over the last two weeks with 15 RBI and a robust .296/.345/.722 slash line. With an isolated power of .426 in this time frame, he's produced 42 batted ball events with six barrels (14.3 barrel percentage) and 18 hard hits (42.9 percent) in them. He's also hitting .297 versus left-handed pitchers this year with 10 home runs and a .931 OPS. Going against the grain could pay off.

Bobby Dalbec, Boston - 1B ($3,300 on DraftKings, $3,100 on FanDuel)

A bonus bargain bat since studs and scrubs may be the way towards success on this slate. Dalbec's turned his season around and boasts a .242 isolated power versus left-handed pitching with eight doubles along with eight home runs in 157 at-bats this year. He's also produced in previous meetings with Keegan Akin going 2-for-4 with a double in them.
