With just over a week left in the season, it's time fantasy players utilize players in the right situations, not relying on name value. It's tough paying up for our highest recommended hitter, but there's plenty of value in the mid tier and our bonus three bargain bats. Utilize all the content on this site including the pitching coach, value vault and playbook for success. Best of luck tonight.

Top Tier

Juan Soto, Washington - OF ($6,200 on DraftKings, $4,500 on FanDuel)

It's difficult paying up for Soto, and fading him since he's on an epic run this month. Over the last 14 days he's hitting .535/.661/.953 with a robust .419 isolated power and 201 weighted runs created plus metric. He's produced four home runs with 25 runs plus RBI and of his 41 batted ball events generated seven barrels (17.1 percent) along with 22 hard hits (53.7 percent). Vladimir Gutierrez of the Reds owns a 2.21 home runs per nine average against left-handed hitting entering tonight's action, so Soto and Josh Bell make for a nice mini-stack on this slate.

Brandon Belt, San Francisco - 1B ($5,000 on DraftKings, $4,300 on FanDuel)

One cannot ignore Coors Field with a total nearing 12 in this contest. Belt launched a home run last night, and hit five over his last 55 plate appearances spanning 12 contests with a .326 average, 1.132 OPS and .370 isolated power. For his career in Colorado, Belt owns a .331 average with a .967 OPS crushing 14 home runs over 288 plate appearances. But, there's more. He's also 14-for-33 in his career versus Jonathan Gray with five doubles, two home runs, a .320 xBA and a .532 xSLG. Giddy up. He pairs well with Brandon Crawford in this match-up.

Mid Tier

Cedric Mullins, Baltimore - OF ($4,500 on DraftKings, $3,500 on FanDuel)

Not sure if everyone realizes Mullins recorded the first 30 home run and stolen base season, first in Baltimore team history. He also leads the team in isolated power versus right-handed pitching (.265) with 21 home runs, a .963 OPS and a .310 average facing them this year. Tonight, he's opposed by Jordan Lyles and a potentially tired Texas bullpen in a smash spot in a game which may fly below the radar with everyone chasing Coors hitters. A dual threat hitting leadoff in Camden makes Mullins DFS gold.

Brendan Rodgers, Colorado - 2B ($3,900 on DraftKings); 2B/SS ($3,100 on FanDuel)

Ignoring Coors cannot be done on this slate, so why not zig when many of the donkeys will zag towards Charlie Blackmon. Our target, Rodgers owns a .322 average this month with five home runs and he's launched four over his last 11 games. He's caught fire with a .340/.353/.620 slash line in 51 plate appearances with a .280 isolated power. And his multiple eligibility on FanDuel provides a nice wrinkle in any build.

Bargain Bats

Max Schrock, Cincinnati - OF ($2,800 on DraftKings); 2B ($2,100 on FanDuel)

Reason number one Rodgers shortstop eligibility above helps, using Schrock on FanDuel at second base allows one to fit in Soto in most lineups. Schrock's hit second in the Reds last two games versus right-handed pitching and faces Erick Fedde with his 1.9 home runs per nine inning average in a ballpark made for them. Also, our target owns a .326/.375/.517 slash this year against righties with four doubles, two triples and three home runs. At his price point, any extra-base hit with a run or two or an RBI hits three times value.

Willie Calhoun, Texas - OF ($2,000 on DraftKings and FanDuel)

A former prospect back from injury at minimum pricing on both sites? Yes please. Calhoun's missed a large portion of the season but hitting .296 his last five games with five hits. He breaks his streak of games without an extra-base hit tonight facing Chris Ellis who gives up 1.9 home runs per nine innings against left-handed hitters this year in a ballpark made for Willie's swing. A GPP flier only, but one which could pay off well with a dinger.

Eddie Rosario, Atlanta - OF ($2,900 on DraftKings, $3,100 on FanDuel)

Yes, Eddie the Eagle can be streaky but he's produced a .316/.381/.711 slash his last two weeks in 12 games covering 42 plate appearances with six runs, four home runs and six RBI. This comes with a .395 isolated power versus a tired Padres bullpen with Vince Velasquez the starting pitcher tonight. With Atlanta in must win mode, another big night by Rosario could be in the offing and at this price point, it's well worth finding out.
