The NFL Conference Championships offer us our final weekend of multi-game DFS slates, so while I've written up both games from a Showdown Slate perspective, we will provide Example Lineups for those who are looking to play in the two-game slate contests. If you missed the write-ups for the individual games, you can find them here:

Now, when building your lineups today, you're obviously going to be stacking the team you think is going to post the most fantasy points. The assumption is that they will win the game, but that's not necessarily always the case here. For example, if you think a team is going to jump out to a strong lead and use their running backs to kill the clock, you don't really want to invest in their passing attack, do you? So when choosing your stack, keep that in mind – your anticipated game flow is important during your build.

I will provide examples of lineups using my favorite stack from each team, but I don't recommend building multiple lineups with each team. Find your favorite and work with that. Take your favorite stack and build around it. For me, my favorite stacks are in the following order:

  1. Kansas City Chiefs
  2. Cincinnati Bengals
  3. Los Angeles Rams
  4. San Francisco 49ers

It's really close between the Chiefs and the Bengals, so if I'm building two sets of lineups, those will be the primary stacks. The Rams are going to be a popular contrarian play, but I'll side with Vegas and the 54.5 over/under for the Chiefs/Bengals game and go with the assumption that these two offenses will post track meet-type numbers late in the game.

Remember, we are only looking at GPP tournaments today. There is too much overlap in two-game slate cash games which increases the pay-lines and makes it much more difficult to cash. That means we can take a few chances and make a couple of dart throws as that will help you to differentiate yourself from the rest of the field.

Also, these lineups are meant to serve as examples for you. A sounding board if you will. They are not meant for you to plug in as your own. That's the lazy way and we don't condone it. We are trying to teach you how to be a better DFS player; we aren't lineup-sellers. You should be creating your own lineups using all the information we provide you throughout the week and then coming here to see if there is anything you may have missed or simply for an alternative perspective.

Best of luck to you this week!
