We have a nine-game DFS NBA slate to defeat this evening with Nets/Bulls, Cavaliers/Jazz and Lakers/Kings having sports-book totals in the 230s meaning there’s going to be a lot of late-night scoring tonight. We’ll have to wait and see if James Harden and Kyrie Irving suit up for the Nets tonight and we already know that Bradley Beal, Jimmy Butler and Kristaps Porzingis will all be inactive this evening. Here’s tonight’s DFS NBA Starting-5.

PG: Dejounte Murray ($10,200 FD, $9,700 DK, $44 Y!): Houston is the least threatening team when it comes to defending point guards. They are legit at the bottom of the league and Murray remains the prioritized scorer for the Spurs. It also helps Murray’s cause that both the Rockets and Spurs are in the top four in the NBA in pace of play. Murray has scored 22-plus points in three of his last five outings and he dished nine or more dimes in four of those games. He’s grabbing at least eight boards per game and he swipes 2.1 balls per contest. He’s even blocked shots in four of his last five games. He should take 18-20 shots in this battle playing close to 40 minutes. He’s an all-around producer heading into a very fast-paced environment.

SG: Tyler Herro: ($6,500 FD, $7,800 DK, $29 Y!): Jimmy Butler remains out and Atlanta’s defense against guards is poor. The Hawks are a bottom-seven team in the league at taking down shooting guards and Herro has a usage of around 32 percent scoring 1.11 fantasy points per minute with Butler and Bam Adebayo out of action. He’s taken no fewer than 20 shots in each of his last four games grabbing five rebounds in three of them. He’s also grabbed a total of four steals in his last two games and blocked shots in three of his last four outings. He does enough in other stat-categories to be trusted at his current pricepoint. He’ll even help with the playmaking and that will result in him dropping a few dimes as well. Tonight’s matchup is a nice pace-boost for the Heat.

SF: Jaylen Brown: ($8,900 FD, $9,300 DK, $37 Y!): Let’s head right back to this matchup because two nights ago, Brown raised the roof against the Pacers the other night scoring 26 points and pulling down 15 rebounds. It was his second straight game producing at least a double-double and with the Pacers backcourt still very much banged up, it puts Brown once again in a great spot. Brown recorded a triple double against the Knicks in the game before last. Brown has really upped his rebounding in recent games as he’s posted four double-doubles in his last six games grabbing no fewer than 11 boards in any of those four outings. He’s been frequently scoring over his 24.2 average and has actually scored 26 points or more in three of his last five battles. He’s blocked shots and swiped balls in three of his last five matchups.

PF:  Kyle Kuzma: ($8,900 FD, $8,000 DK, $33 Y!): Kuzma destroyed the Magic the other night scoring 27 points and grabbing 22 boards against them and with Wendell Carter Jr and Mo Bamba out for tonight’s game, there’s no reason Kuzma shouldn’t dominate the post against them again. He’s posted 2 double-doubles against Orlando this year and five in his last seven games. Kuzma has been on fire shooting the basketball hitting 50 percent or more of his shots in five of his last seven and he’s scored no fewer than 21 points in each of his last eight battles. Kuzma continues to take a lot of shots and with limited depth in the Magic’s frontcourt and no Bradley Beal, all sets up nicely for another huge Kuzma game. He’s even blocked shots in four straight games.

C: Joel Embiid: ($10,900 FD, $11,200 DK, $51 Y!): The Hornets rank 28th in the league at defending centers and Embiid has scored 43 and 32 points against them this season and he’s actually scored 31-plus points in six straight contests. He’s hit the 20-shot mark in four of his last five outings and he’s even helping move the ball around too, dishing six or more dimes in three of his last four battles. Between the high volume of shots, excellent matchup complete with a giant pace boost for Philly and that he blocks shots and grabs steals consistently makes it worth spending up for Embiid tonight. He’s shot over 54 percent from the floor in three of his last four games.
