We have five games on today’s main slate for DFS NBA with action starting at 6pm ET. The Pelicans/Rockets game has the highest over/under at 231 and Bucks/Clippers are behind them at 228. Be careful with the Clippers because they just made a multi-player trade and we’ll have to see if new acquisitions Norman Powell and Robert Covington will be active and if either player will have a minutes restriction as they learn the new offense. Kristaps Porzingis remains out for the Mavericks, but, we could potentially see the return of Domantas Sabonis and Malcolm Brogdon.

PG: Luka Doncic (11600FD, 12000DK, 54Y!): With Kristaps Porzingis still out, let’s go back to Doncic who has produced five straight double-doubles with three of those games being triple-doubles. He’s scored no fewer than 30 points in four straight contests and he’s shot over 48 percent in three of those battles. Trae Young is a weak defender and the Hawks rank 24th in the league at defending guards. He’s taken 28-plus shots in his last two contests and is even coming off of two multi-steal outings. The price is massively high but he’s worth the investment. The pace works in the Mavs favor in this matchup as well. His usage without Porzingis and Tim Hardaway Jr. is around 40 percent.

SG: Brandon Ingram (7800FD, 8700DK, 35Y!): With Houston being a bottom three team in the league at guarding midcourts, Ingram is in a prime spot tonight in a huge pace-up spot. Ingram is coming off of a double-double and has posted two in his last four games. He’s taken no fewer than 18 shots in six of his last seven outings. Ingram put up 40 points the last time he played the Rockets. He grabs nearly six boards a game and he’s swiped balls in six of his last seven contests. He blocked shots in four of those games. We’ve seen Ingram bring up the ball a lot more this year and he’s exceeded his 5.4 assist average in six of his last seven battles.

SF: Jayson Tatum (9800FD, 10600DK, 40Y!): Back in November, Tatum had a miserable game against them, but lately, Tatum has been an even more impactful defender and Wendell Carter Jr. will have trouble chasing him around especially outside the paint and Franz Wagner can’t match up against him. The pace favors Boston in this matchup and Tatum has taken 17-plus shots in five of his last seven games. He’ll help bring up the ball and he’s dished five or more dimes in three of his last four games. He even swipes a ball per game. He’s been shooting a little better from downtown hitting over 42 percent of his three-pointers in two of his last three battles. The Magic are 24th in the league at defending small forwards.

PF: Kevin Love (6900FD, 7200DK, 21Y!): Even if Darius Garland plays, there will still be enough shots to go around for Kevin Love. The Pacers are still dealing with a banged up frontcourt and Love has hit the 20-point mark in scoring in four of his last six contests. He’s taken 15-plus shots in four of his last five games and he’s produced double-doubles and blocked shots in two of his last three games. Love scored 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds the last time he matched up against the Pacers. He’s ripped down nine or more boards in five of his last six games. The Pace of this game slightly favors Cleveland and seeing Love get as much love as he has off the bench in this offense, let’s roll with the heat that he’s been bringing.

C: Christian Wood (8500FD, 8500DK, 31Y!): Both of the centers in this matchup have strong matchups today and you can flip a coin and decide. Wood has been putting up more DFS points overall lately so let's roll with him as the Pelicans are a bottom-10 team at defending centers. Wood has shot at least 50 percent from the field in six straight games. Wood has recorded three double-doubles in his four outings and he posted two multi-steal and multi-block games during that span. Wood also hit the 20-point mark in scoring in three of his last four contests. He should take 13-16 shots tonight and Wood has shot over 37 percent from beyond the arc this season.
