After reading through the Track Breakdown and the Rankings and the Playbook and listening to the podcast, you’ll have seen the pool of drivers that we’re liking for this weekend at Darlington. The Core Plays helps widdle that down to the group we’re building around for each DFS site and game type.

Cash Builds: There is a fair amount of PD in the field this week given that this is following the chaos that was Daytona last week including a few key guys starting P25 or worse. We still want to have a guy in the build that can lead laps but mainly we’re targeting drivers moving up here and with the number of cautions that can arise in this package on this track, it could be even a bit more PD.

GPP Builds:  We are looking for the laps led dominator this week and given that one race in the last five here has seen more than one driver lead 100 or more laps while an average of nearly two drivers a race have led 50 or more laps. Over the last several races here, only 52-percent of drivers to finish in the top-10 have started in the top-12 meaning even though this is a track position track, drivers can in fact move up to finish in the top-10 if they don’t start there. With a lot of people on the same PD plays, we’re going to need to take a bit more risk in the PD options for differentiation and to raise your chances of shooting up the board.
