Here are my personal core plays for this weekend's tournament.  These players listed below are my three favorite top tier, middle tier and value tier players for both DraftKings and Fanduel.  They will be at the core of all my lineups for this weekend's ZOZO Championship and then I'll use my playbook to fill out the remaining spots in my lineup.

Make sure you read my full PGA DFS Playbook for ZOZO Championship before using these core plays.  You can also take a look at my Weekly Tournament Projections at any time.

The ZOZO Championship is basically the same event as we saw at the CJ Cup last week except the players will head overseas to the tournament traditional home course.  We will also have to take into account the travel for these players and experience playing on such a unique style course.  It’s also a no cut event which means you can take your shots with guys way down the pricing sheet because you know they’re going to play all four rounds.  Stars and Scrubs for everyone!

If you took a look through the playbook, I’ll likely start my lineups with two of these three guys; Xander Schauffele, Hideki Matsuyama and Tommy Fleetwood.  If I’m going stars and scrubs, probably go Xander and Hideki.  Then I’ll mix in two of Cameron Tringale, C.T. Pan, Lanto Griffin or Adam Schenk.  I’ll round things out with two of these three; Takumi Kanaya, Matthew NeSmith, or Sung Kang.  When you’ve got a no cut event, the flexibility is basically endless.

I think teaching DFS players using these core lineups is way more valuable to our subscribers, it forces them to use the playbooks and not just copy and paste example lineups.  A set of these players will be in each one of my lineups this weekend and then a mix of players from my playbook will fill out the rest.

Japan is 13 hours ahead of us which means lineups will lock at 7:30pm eastern TONIGHT!

If you have any more questions, you can leave them in the chat or hit me up on twitter @Drew_Phelps83.

Good Luck!
