  • This is an online best-of-three series for the semi-finals of Pinnacle Cup IV
  • Movistar Riders - Rating at event: SunPayus 1.64 | alex 1.43 | mopoz 1.15 | dav1g 1.15 | DeathZz 1.08

H2H Data:

  • These rosters have never faced each other.

Prediction/Narrative: Movistar Riders wins 2-1.

Movistar Riders looked elite in their sweep against Isurus on Thursday, and they are now the highest-rated team at the tournament with a 1.29 Team Rating, though they have only played two maps total. SunPayus & alex are currently the two highest-rated players at the event, and they will look to continue their good form on Friday. As for Finest, they've been excellent as well as the second highest-rated team at the event with a 1.11 Team Rating over a larger sample size of 21 maps. Finest have won three series in a row, including a notable sweep against PGL Major Antwerp semi-finaliist Spirit on Wednesday. Finest's best map as of late has been Dust2, but we can expect Movistar Riders to ban that to start. Finest only have a win rate above 50% on one other map besides Dust2 in the past month, and that map would be Vertigo, which used to be one of Movistar Riders' best maps. The Riders have struggled on that map in recent months but they have played a tough group of opponents and they did manage to beat BIG. Finest have been in good enough form that I could see them taking a map here, but Movistar Riders should have this series locked up otherwise. Movistar Riders are the clear better team and the map pool seems to be fairly in their favor.

  • SunPayus leads his team with 0.75 kills per round across 39 maps played in the past three months.
  • Mopoz leads his team with 0.13 opening kills per round across 39 maps played in the past three months.

Eternal Fire (World rank: #25) vs. ECSTATIC (World rank: #38) - 10:00 A.M. ET

Moneyline Odds: Eternal Fire (-165) | ECSTATIC (+135)

Map Handicap: Eternal Fire -1.5 (+195) | ECSTATIC (+1.5 (-240)

  • This is an online best-of-three series for the semi-finals of Pinnacle Cup IV
  • Eternal Fire - Rating at event: XANTARES 1.20 | woxic 1.19 | xfl0ud 1.14 | Calyx 1.02 | imoRR 0.96
  • Eternal Fire - Rating past three months: XANTARES 1.26 | woxic 1.13 |  imoRR 1.11 | Calyx 1.07 | xfl0ud 1.04
  • ECSTATIC - Rating at event: FASHR 1.28 | XELLOW 1.11 | birdfromsky 1.08 | maNkz 1.03 | Daffu 0.97
  • ECSTATIC - Rating past three months: FASHR 1.21 | XELLOW 1.09 | maNkz 1.00 | birdfromsky 0.99 | Daffu 0.98

H2H Data:

  • These rosters have never faced each other. The teams last faced in December, prior to ECSTATIC adding XELLOW for WolfY. ECSTATIC won that series 2-0 (16-11 Nuke / 16-12 Inferrno) and birdfromsky led the server with 43 kills and a 1.28 Rating.

Prediction/Narrative: ECSTATIC wins 2-1.

ECSTATIC swept the last two meetings between these teams, and we have seen all week that they are a capable team with XELLOW on the AWP. ECSTATIC are on fire and have now won six of their last seven series, As for Eternal Fire, they have been playing well with woxic as IGL and they have a 36-19 W/L record across 55 maps played in the past three months. Eternal Fire are the fourth-highest rated team at the event so far with a 1.10 Team Rating, but ECSTATIC are right behind them in fifth with a 1.09 Team Rating. Eternal Fire have only played two maps at this event while ECSTATIC have played 19. Overall, both teams are in great form at the moment. Eternal Fire should ban Ancient to start, which takes away one of ECSTATIC's best maps. However, the rest of the map pool seems like it could go either way with both of these teams looking solid on Vertigo, Dust2, and Inferno. This series looks very close on paper, but I have to lean toward ECSTATIC as the underdog. The pricing on Draftkings is similar for both sides so I don't mind getting to Eternal Fire either, but I'd prefer to take ECSTATIC here especially given their proven track record at Pinnacle Cup IV.

  • FASHR leads his team with 0.79 kills per round across 43 maps played in the past three months.
  • XELLOW & FASHR lead ECSTATIC with 0.12 opening kills per round across 43 maps played in the past three months.
