2023 Player Outlook

Expectations were high for Rashod Bateman entering the 2022 season, but a series of injuries caused him to miss 11 games throughout the year. There's no doubting his talent, but with the addition of Odell Beckham and Zay Flowers along with the ever-present Mark Andrews, he has an uphill battle for to claim the WR1 spot. Even when he was on the field last year, he only averaged 57 yards per game (and that's excluding the early exit in Week 8 that put him on injured reserve). If new offensive coordinator Todd Monken introduces a more pass-heavy scheme, Bateman could have more value, but for now, he's really just a boom-or-bust player.
