2023 Player Outlook

Despite never having a 1,000+ yard rushing season in his career, Austin Ekeler is consistently one of the top backs in fantasy. He worked his magic once again finishing as RB1 in both full and half PPR and RB4 in standard. We know that, regardless of format, a target is more valuable than a carry so he should once again be a top option for fantasy. The two concerns are A, former offensive coordinator Joe Lombardi loved targetting the running back but he's gone now, and B, there's a chance new OC Kellen Moore and company bring in a veteran back for early downs. Ezekiel Elliott, who played for Moore in Dallas, is still available, for instance. Even then, Ekeler should be a rock-solid fantasy option once again based on his work in the passing game.
