Today's Top Plays

Caris LeVert OVER 21.5 points

In six of the last seven games when ONE of Malcolm Brogdon or Domantas Sabonis have sat out, LeVert has hit the over 21.5 points. The one in which he did not? He scored 20 actual. I mention one of them being out because it’s expected that Domantas Sabonis will sit here.

Here’s a quote from Rick Carlisle, head coach of the Pacers, after last night’s game;

Who’s suiting up with a significant ankle injury? They’re not playing for anything as they’re not in playoff contention right now, so why risk injuring Sabonis more if the injury is already significant? As of writing this, he has NOT officially been ruled out, which is why we should capitalize on this prop NOW before it skyrockets to an uncomfortable place.

This game has a 217.5 O/U in Vegas and looking at DK Sportsbook, they’re setting the number at 21.5 points too, with an ever so slight lean towards the over at -115. He averaged 21.6 PPG for the month of December (13 games) and has averaged 23 PPG thus far in January (four games).

Klay Thompson OVER 2.5 three-pointers

This line won’t last forever, so might as well take advantage of it while we can. In the five games he’s played in, he’s taken five or more three’s and has made three in three of the five contests. In EVERY season he’s played dating back to the 2012-’13 campaign, he’s averaged at least 2.6 three-pointers made per game.

Every. Single. Season.

Not to mention, in every season he’s played in, he’s shot better than 40% from beyond the arc.

Every. Single. Season.

He’s only shooting 36% from three this year, but it’s only been five games. As his minutes tick upwards, the more shot attempts he’ll see and that minutes uptick happened last game – or at least was supposed to – as he was slated to play 24 minutes before the blowout. He’s as great of a shooter as the NBA has ever seen and we’re taking advantage of this 2.5 made three’s while we can.
