**Please note that players not listed below are not necessarily a complete fade and any player listed can certainly be used as the MVP/Captain. These are merely suggestions for players to use when setting Showdown lineups.

MVP/Captain

Jonathan Taylor, RB - Have you seen the weather report? San Francisco is expecting down pours with winds sitting around 30 MPH. Add to the fact that the Colts are without T.Y. Hilton and Paris Campbell tonight and it seems like a pretty heavy dose of Jonathan Taylor is in order here. He is the most expensive player on the slate but could easily be the highest scoring player.

49ers D/ST -  The Colts offense will need to likely rely heavily on the running game which should result in a low scoring contest. Since defenses in DFS automatically start with 10 points your defense will start with 15 points in the captain slot. Given the weather we are not expecting a ton of points here tonight and there is a good shot at the defenses being among the leaders in points scored.

Colts D/ST - See the attached tweet? That's how windy it is tonight in San Francisco. The Colts currently rank #1 in DVOA against run and it seems like passing the football will be damn near impossible. Again, the defenses will start off with 15 points tonight and using BOTH defenses is for sure a strategy that can be deployed.

Eli Mitchell Jr., RB - With a traditional QB in Jimmy Garoppolo back under center for the 49ers the team's running game should really benefit, especially since there is little risk of Jimmy G running the football and this weather is making it less than likely there is much throwing going on here either.

Mid-Tier

Deebo Samuel, WR - If there was a WR that could produce in these type of elements then Samuel would be the guy. Samuel is often used on short passing routes that get him in space and allow for him to use his elusiveness and speed to make big gains. The team also likes using him on reveres and out the backfield as well. I could see a few carries and a handful of short receptions going his way.

JaMycal Hasty, RB - Hasty was activated off of IR for today's game and should be part of the running back rotation behind Eli Mitchell. Before getting hurt we saw Hasty with five carries for 38 yards and four catches for 21 yards in Week 2. If the 49ers like to dump the football off to him today on screens there is some decent upside here in PPR.

Michael Pittman, WR - Again, not exactly the best situation to be in, however, if the Colts do try to throw the football then Pittman could be the most likely target for today. I don't expect much in terms of downfield passing but short routes that can get him the ball as a possession receiver.

Ross Dwelley, TE - With George Kittle out of the lineup we see Dwelley move in as the starting tight end. Another short passing option for Jimmy G if the 49ers try to mix in something other than the run on today's windy day.

Nyheim Hines, RB - The game script here is better suited for Taylor but given the weather it seems likely that there could be an all hands on deck approach at the position today. We know that Hines is a great pass catcher and could be viable in PPR formats.

Dart Throws

Marlon Mack, RB - If you want to get into dart throws for tonight then Mack certainly fits that bill. He has seen at least five carries in each of the last two weeks and got 10 carries against the Dolphins in Week 4. With the idea that both teams will be running more than usual tonight it feels like we could see 10 carries out of Mack here once again.

Mo Alie-Cox, TE - He doesn't run many routes but he does get the targets when he decides to go out on a passing pattern. Cox has three touchdowns over the past three weeks and if the Colts get the ball into the red zone then his short yardage red zone ability could very well come in handy.

Jimmy Garoppolo/Carson Wentz, QB - Hard to see either QB being popular today given the weather which makes then nice dart throws on this single game slate. If the script flips or any of these WR's end up breaking off a long touchdown then those points will be nicely doubled up here with a WR/QB stack.
