NBA DFS Playbook: December 11

Curry is chasing the all-time three-point record as he sits just 10 behind Ray Allen. It would certainly be fitting for Curry to go out there and have himself a career night while taking the record while facing his brothers team tonight. While it's unlikely that Curry goes out and hits 10 three-pointers tonight we can still assume a big time performance is in store here.

Just went for 44 FP in this same matchup and is averaging over 40 FP in two meetings against the Nuggets this season. He continues to be a great option if you are looking to save a little cash from the top priced plays.

Nice pace up spot here for Garland against a bad defensive team in the Sacramento Kings. We love going at De'Aaron Fox  defense and Garland has been great this season, especially of late where he is averaging 40 FP a game over  his last six.

Ball has given us three straight 40 FP outings as he takes on a bigger role with DeMar DeRozan out of the lineup. The matchup against Kyle Lowry can certainly be tough at times this season but the price, especially on DK, for LaVine is solid tonight given the recent performance.

If you need some value there could be something here with Monte Morris tonight, especially if Will Barton ends up doesn't end up playing. Morris is averaging 27.5 FP over the last five games and went for 24 FP against the Spurs the other night.

I like him for cash games tonight as I did last night as well. He should come off the bench and see 20-to-25 minutes while giving us a fantasy point per minute. This is a pace up spot for the Cavs so there is certainly a chance we get a bit higher of a ceiling out of Rubio tonight as well.

Going to be the chalk value tonight at the point guard position. The Rockets are without Jalen Green, Kevin Porter Jr. and Eric Gordon tonight. Brooks was already starting at guard and is coming off a 35.8 FP night against the Bucks.

We don't generally like this price tag for LaVine but with DDR out of the lineup we have seen a decent ceiling from LaVine during this stretch. The Heat are without Jimmy Butler who would have likely been the defensive matchup for LaVine which means he should have an easier time tonight. 

Alex Caruso being active tonight makes me a little less bullish on Herro who would be entering the starting lineup with Butler out tonight. Herro is enjoying a fantastic year three but know that he is just a GPP only play for me this evening. 

The price keeps rising but he keeps on delivering. Bane is averaging 34 FP over the last six games and just went for 39 FP the other night. Houston is a great matchup for Bane and they are without the majority of their starting back court as well.

This DK price is really what we are looking for tonight as White is averaging 36.5 DK points over the last five games and just went for 43 FP in this same matchup the other night. While he is an elite cash game play, I also don't mind him in GPPs.

Just playing the brother narrative here. The last time the Sixers played the Warriors we saw Seth score 24 points on 8-of-16 shooting. Over the last five games he is averaging 29.3 DK points. The under $6,000 price across the platforms is where we want to be.

Great price at $5,700 and should be pretty popular for game stacks tonight. Poole is averagign 32 FP over the last five games and went for 32 FP in the matchup against the Sixers earlier this season.

All the Grizzlies back court players are in play tonight against the Rockets and Melton is no different. He continues to play minutes in the mid-20s while giving us a fantasy point per minute with a ceiling that is even greater.

With Green, Gordon and Porter out for the Rockets we may see Christopher enter the starting lineup tonight. We saw him play 23 minutes against the Nets two games ago and put up 31 FP. Last night he saw 13 minutes against the Bucks and finished with 15.75 FP. He is averaging a fantasy point per minute on the season in his limited playing time.

The small forward position is lacking elite spend up options tonight with all the players ruled out so we look to Tate who may be asked to take on a larger offensive role with Eric Gordon now out of the lineup tonight as well. We know that Tate can fill the stat sheet and if the shot drops he has the upside to pay off this price tag.

Not a player I ever love playing but if Will Barton is ruled out then Gordon is certainly someone that is in play tonight. We just saw Gordon in this matchup the other night go for 38.5 fantasy points. The Spurs front court continues to be a point of weakness that should be attacked.

With Jaren Jackson Jr. unlikely to play tonight I think Brooks becomes an exciting play against the Rockets. He is no stranger to getting his shot and with a high usage player like Jackson out of the lineup Brooks should pick up some of the slack in a great matchup against Houston.

It has been a great season for Matthews in Houston as the swingman is averaging 28 FP over the last five games while shooting 44% from three-point range. The 28 FP at this price tag is just about 7x return and Memphis is not a good defensive team, especially when it comes to defending the three-point line.

Davis is somehow cheaper tonight than he was last night. Foul trouble limited him to just 22 minutes last night but that didn't stop him from going off as he finished with 38 fantasy points. Davis has given us 38, 37, 28.75 and 38 DK points over his last four games and now he is UNDER $4,000? Feels too good to be true. The lone worry here is the pace of play with Cleveland generally playing at a much slower pace than the Kings have this season.

Another solid under $4,000 option on DK and under $5,000 on FD. Martin should start in place of Jimmy Butler tonight and he is coming off a MASSIVE game where he went for 49 fantasy points against the Bucks.  

The Warriors are a strong defensive team but Harris is a higher usage player on this Sixers team and has the ability to fill up the stat sheet for fantasy players. I like him more in game stacks and cash games than a spend up in GPPs as a one off.

Hope we get a bounce back performance after letting us down a bit last night. The Kings front court is still without Richaun Holmes and have been a source of weakness for them defensively this season. I am fading on FanDuel but I do like over on DK.

Speculation play here because we do not know who will play in place of Jaren Jackson Jr. tonight. Anderson is not an exciting player but he is another guy that will give you five category contributions when given the playing time. Also consider Xavier Tillman and Killian Tillie depending on who starts.

We got 27 minutes out of Bagley last night as he closed out the game for the Kings. This minutes bump was great to see and hopefully a sign of what we can expect with Richaun Holmes out of the lineup tonight as well. Bagley has tremendous upside and this price point where he is min-price on Yahoo and under $4,000 on DK and $5,000 on FanDuel is a tag to target. The Cavs play such a big front court with Markannen, Mobley and Allen that I feel as though Bagley needs to play to match the size and athleticism. 

Jokic is averaging 67 fantasy points in two games against the Spurs this season. He went for 63.75 DK points against the Spurs the other night. You don't really need me to tell you to play Jokic. You know what he can do and this is a matchup he has dominated.

If you need to save a little cash then you can certainly look to Embiid. He did not play in the first meeting between these two teams but we know that Golden State is a bit undersized at the center position this season and while they play good team defense, Embiid tends to be a problem for most teams that don't have a big body to deal with him.

Great for cash games. Miami still doesn't have Bam Adebayo available and Dedmon is playing only 20 or so minutes a night. With DeRozan out we can just keep going back to the Vucevic well.

He went for another 40+ FP last night and this is big pace up spot for the Cavs. Allen gets to face a Kings team missing their starting center in Richaun Holmes and are looking to fill the void with Alex Len and Tristan Thompson. Advantage Jarrett Allen.

If you need a cash game spend down then I think Adams is worth a look tonight. With Jaren Jackson ruled out along with Brandon Clarke I think we see Adams play 30+ minutes in a good spot here against the Rockets. A low end double-double would not be shocking.
