NBA DFS Playbook: December 13

He is seven three-pointers away from tying the all-time three-point record and he has multiple seven three-point games on this chart this season. The Pacers are a team looking to rebuild and with the record in range I can certainly see Curry going out there and shooting for the record tonight.

Young has been a complete player over the last 10 games, giving us not only elite scoring but also double-digit assists, a handful of rebounds and multiple steals. Add in tonight's matchup against the Rockets and there is a lot to love here tonight.

No Devin Booker and maybe no DeAndre Ayton for the Suns tonight. We have a little revenge narrative in play with Paul and the Clippers. He also has a good matchup against a bad defensive Reggie Jackson.

No Bam and no Butler. We have gotten 40 FP in a handful of games lately out of Lowry and he has good matchup against the Cleveland back court that is not great defensively. I think he is a must play over on FanDuel at $6,900 tonight.

Maybe no Will Barton and Aaron Gordon tonight with both listed as questionable. Morris has been giving us 30+ FP of late and Washington's defense is starting to go down the tubes.

Chalk play tonight with Luka Doncic out of the lineup. The Hornets have also been horrible defensively of late, playing in some high scoring games. I look for Brunson to be the highest rostered guard tonight.

He didn't start the other night but he still played over 30 minutes off the bench. The matchup against the Hawks is elite and whether he starts or not it is hard to not love Brooks given the production of late.

He got the start the other night when Martin was ruled out. With Martin out again, along with Jimmy Butler we could see Vincent again in the starting lineup. He can be a good offensive player and the price is nice over on DK and Y!.

Herro still came off the bench the other night with Butler and Martin out of the lineup but that's probably where we want him as Herro then gets to play with the second team where the offense runs more through him. Great price over on FD tonight at just $6,400.

GPP ONLY – Listen, Rozier is active after missing the past week or so due to Covid-19. We have some players  limited in their return while others have played without limitations. We have not yet heard whether or not Rozier will be limited or not but the Hornets also can't really afford to not have him on the floor as they are still without key players. IF Rozier starts and is not limited then I have interest here because he can lead the team in scoring.

So, Bane is now QUESTIOANABLE to play tonight. IF he sits then we can look more towards DeAnthony Melton or Kyle Anderson tonight. Should he play then I like the spot as he continues to be an impressive source of production with Ja Morant out of the lineup.

Core play for me tonight. The price at $6,000 is perfect for a guy who is consistently giving us over 30 FP which is all he needs for 5x. Now we add in the matchup against a Kings team that is having some problems and I am all in.

Continues to play monster minutes for the Hawks and has an elite matchup against the Rockets tonight. The price on FanDuel and Yahoo is hard to ignore even if they don't give the three-point bonus like we get on DK.

Active tonight and should start once again for the Rockets after sitting out the other day. Gordon doesn't give you a ton of secondary stats but he can drop 20+ actual points which is good enough at this price tag.

We've pointed out that Robinson is a much better shooter on the road this season than at home and with Butler and Martin out of the lineup he will continue to get his looks. Robinson, though home the other night, did go for 30+ FP. Great price given the minutes and increased usage.

All of the Hornets are once again in play tonight. While the price on Oubre continues to ride he also continues to meet the challenge as we get 40+ FP fairly consistently. This matchup tonight may be tougher than usual as he deals with Dorian Finney-Smith and Maxi Kleber at times but he could also see elite matchups like Tim Hardaway Jr and Reggie Bullock.

Great price on DraftKings in an good matchup against the Kings. Not to be overly repetitive but pretty much all Raptors are in play tonight in this matchup.

Good for cash games and may even have a bit more of a ceiling than I give him credit for tonight against the Celtics. Middleton has always had good games against Boston even with solid defensive players like Marcus Smart and Jaylen Brown defending the wings.

If Desmond Bane is not active tonight this will only boost the production from Brooks but even if Bane is active I am a fan of what Brooks has brought to the table this season on the offensive side of the floor.

Averaging 27 FP over the last four games while playing close to 30 minutes a night. Johnson has filled in nicely for the injured Devin Booker and may see even more shots if Ayton is also out against the Clippers.

He finally had an off shooting night after being nails but that doesn't mean we fade him tonight in a great spot against the Hawks. The price is on the rise but he is still a reasonable play over on DK at just $4,500.

Big minutes of late and Paul George is doubtful to play. The rebounds have bene a great source of production and now the shot is falling as well. Good DK price and a solid punt on FanDuel as well.

Swapping Reddish in for TLC. Reports are that Reddish will not have a minutes limit off the bench tonight so that should free him up to playing more in place of TLC in the rotation.

Giannis has dominated the Celtics over the course of his career and Boston is in a slide right now as well. I'll never tell you not to play Giannis and we saw him go for nearly 80 FP the other night against the Rockets.

All Raptors are in play tonight against the Kings. Sacramento is struggling right now and their front court is missing Richaun Holmes.

Chalk play tonight. Porzingis has elite numbers with Luka out of the lineup even if he struggled the other night. We also love attacking the Hornets at the center position and Zinger plays a lot of minutes in that front court.

The passing from Trae Young has made everyone on this Hawks team better and Collins is no different. We got a ceiling game against the Hawks and had a solid showing against the Nets the other night. Houston is certainly a matchup for him to attack.

I pointed out the odd trend that we see in production from Mobley which is basically he has one big game where he goes for 40 FP and then he follows it up with a stinker. Well, he dropped 40 FP the other night so if that trend continued then you probably want to fade him. That said, I love the matchup and the player.

He had a bad game the other night but with Paul George expected to sit we can certainly go ahead and take another stab with Morris here tonight at this price tag. We know he has great offensive upside when things are going.

Another Suns player looking good of late as Crowder has gone for at least 27 FP in four of the last five games. With Devin Booker out of the lineup the Suns need more offense and they are getting that from Crowder right now.

Should continue to start as the Kings are showcasing Bagley for a trade. He played 27 minutes a few nights ago and likely only saw 22 minutes because of the back-to-back. I love Bagley's upside when given the extended run.

Top play of the slate by far. He is pretty much giving us a floor of 60 FP with a ceiling of 70+. Tonight he faces a Wizards team with a foul happy Daniel Gafford at center and an undersized Montrezl Harrell coming off the bench. The Wizards defense is also on the decline. Gotta get some Jokic tonight and there is enough value to do it.

The Grizzlies are likely without Steven Adams tonight. They also don't have Brandon Clarke and Jaren Jackson Jr. is questionable. IF those three are ruled out tonight then I don't see how Xavier Tillman and Killian Tillie are able to go up against Embiid tonight. He is the clear pivot from Jokic.

Back-to-back 40 FP games from Capela and now he has a great spot against the Rockets and the increased offense is likely coming from the fact that Trae Young is passing the ball more. Really like this if you aren't looking to spend all the way up.

In competitive games Dedmon manages to stay on the floor. The two blowouts saw his minutes limited. We know that Cleveland boasts a big front court and for that reason I suspect Dedmon has to stay on the floor.

Boucher will continue to start with Achuiwa out of the lineup. He played 27 minutes the other night and we know he has elite upside in this matchup against the Kings. Much better price on DK and Yahoo.

McGee broke the slate the other night against the Celtics, going for 45 FP with Ayton out of the lineup. While it's unlikely we get a ceiling game from McGee again tonight he does have a great matchup. If Ayton is out we really should look to go here if you aren't playing Jokic.

Has played about 25 minutes a night for the last three games and is shooting the ball well. He is a GPP punt play only for tonight's slate, especially with Paul George likely sitting out.
