OVER 22.5 Points/Rebounds/Assists

Akinjo is a shooter. He leads the Bears with a 25% shot rate and plays almost every minute of every game. Baylor is facing a North Carolina team with a 70.3% adjusted tempo (37th in the nation) and they have shown in the past that they can play at a tempo that their opponents dictate. Look for this to be a high-scoring game and Akinjo will be involved in nearly every play as the team’s main ball handler and shooter. He has hit this prop in four straight games and holds a 14.2 scoring average along with 3.7 rebounds and 5.8 assists over the last 10 contests.

Ryan Hawkins (Creighton) OVER 7.0 Rebounds

Hawkins, an unknown transfer from Northwest Missouri State, led Creighton in scoring and rebounding and led the Big East in double-doubles. With Ryan Kalkbrenner out for the rest of the tournament, expect Hawkins to be even more involved on the boards today almost guaranteeing another double-double in a matchup that is actually better than Thursday against San Diego State where he grabbed eight rebounds against one of the best defenses in the nation.

Tyler Burton (Richmond) OVER 8.0 Rebounds

This is finally Tyler Burton’s season. He has expanded his game each year, going from a good college player to a great one. Burton now averages 16.4 points and 7.8 rebounds, leading the Richmond Spiders in both categories. Against Big Ten champ Iowa on Thursday, he scored 18 with 11 rebounds, his 11th double-double of the season, and showed the country his athleticism getting to the boards. Today, he faces a Providence team that is mediocre on the defensive side of the boards as the Friars carry a 27.6% defensive rebounding rate into today’s game. Burton has a 5.4% offensive and 22.3% defensive rebounding rate along with an 8.4 rebound average over the last 10 games plus he has grabbed at least eight boards in nine of his last 11 games.
