Chimezie Metu, PF SAS ($4,700) – Metu had been performing well, averaging 22.3 DK points in 17 games this season, but now that he is in the starting lineup, it appears he is taking things to the next level. At least for one game that is as Metu took advantage of the 36 minutes he played out of the starting lineup on Friday. The forward picked up a nice double-double as he scored 18 points while grabbing 11 rebounds and with Sacramento lacking for front court options, Metu should have a similar role and performance tonight as the Kings continue to be thin in the front court.
Josh Christopher, SG/SF HOU ($3,900) – The current state of affairs across the league has given us a plethora of value options that are popping into the starting lineup. It appears that Christopher will remain in the starting lineup on Monday as he looks to score in double figures for the fifth time in his last six games. In those games, Christopher is averaging a solid 11 points, 3.2 assists, and 2.3 rebounds per game, but as his workload has increased, his output has followed. Christopher isn’t going to really pop from an upside perspective, but 10 points, seven rebounds, and four assists were good enough on Saturday for 26 DK points.

Garrison Mathews, SF HOU ($4,800) – Based on how he has been playing as of late, it’s not a surprise that Houston wanted to convert Mathews’ contract into something a little more permanent and keep him around. Granted the opportunity is readily available in Houston, but Mathews has done a good job of taking advantage of the possibilities and carving out a solid role with the Rockets. In 35 minutes against Detroit on Saturday, Mathews scored 16 points while grabbing five rebounds on his way to 35 FD points. With Houston shorthanded, I would expect to see the forward get all the minutes he can handle tonight.
Jonathan Kuminga, SF GS ($3,900) – Kuminga got the first start of his career on Saturday, and the rookie certainly did not disappoint. With Andrew Wiggins, among others, on the COVID list for Golden State (what else is new these days) it appears that Kuminga is slated for another start on Monday in a favorable matchup against a Sacramento team that is also shorthanded. In 36 minutes of action, Kuminga was efficient scoring 26 points on nine of 15 shooting. It was a one-dimensional performance as the rookie had just two assists, two steals, and one rebound (while turning the ball over six times), but he can clearly score and is strong defensively and most importantly, the price is right.

Lonnie Walker, SF SA ($12) – Walker has found a nice groove off the bench as of late for San Antonio providing some instant offense. With the rash of players sidelined tonight, as is becoming customary, value will continue to present itself, but I don’t want to overlook someone like Walker. In his last five games, Walker has averaged 17.2 points off the bench, and when you chip in a few rebounds and assists, it’s worth taking advantage of the value to see if the hot hand continues.
Matisse Thybulle, SF PHI ($10) – Philadelphia looks to be short handed once again tonight, and that means Thybulle should see some increased run tonight. It has been a while since Thybulle hit double figures in scoring, but a lot of that is volume dependent as the value we get here is going to be based on both the shots being there for Thybulle and said shots falling. The price is right though for us to pay to find out.
