TOP GUARDS

Johnny Davis G/F (Wisconsin) Opp UMD ($9.6K DK/8.6K FD)

Davis was on zero preseason All-American lists in November and now as UW gets ready for its fifth Big Ten game of the season he is a contender to be named Big Ten Player of the Year, National Player of the Year and is rocketing up NBA mock draft boards. He can score form anywhere on the court leading the Badgers in points (22.6), rebounds (7.3), assists (2.8) and steals (1.4). Against ranked teams he is averaging 30.3 points and 8.3 rebounds per game so the bigger the game the better he plays. $9.6K is a lot to pay but Davis is matchup proof and the top play guard on the board in all formats today.

Payton Willis (Minnesota) Opp @IU ($7.6K DK)

Minnesota needs to find room for Willis to work and if their transition game is successful today it’s because of his playmaking and shooting abilities. Coming off his worst game of the season, Willis is second on the team in scoring at 15.7 points per game and he ranks in the Top 10 of the Big Ten in made 3-pointers. With an assist rate of 22.8% Willis has scored at least 23 DKFP in every game this season and plays every minute giving him a high enough floor to make a safe cash play today.

Aaron Estrada (Hofstra) Opp @JMU ($6.2K DK)

Estrada and James Madison’s Takal Molson are both in play today as the two mid-major studs face off in the highest scoring game of the slate. Slight lean goes to Estrada if only playing one as the only two-time CAA Player of the Week is having a monster season. He was two assists shy of a triple-double in a big upset at then #24 Arkansas a couple of weeks ago with 22 points, 10 rebounds and eight assists. In Hofstra’s last game he put up 20 shots against William & Mary enroute to a 41 DKFP game, the fourth 40 fantasy point out of his last six. Estrada is in play in both Cash and GPPs today on DraftKings.

Terrell Brown (UW) $9.0K DK/8.4K FD

Takal Molson (JMU) $6.1K DK

Fatts Russell (UMD) $6.8K DK/6.1K FD

Jalen Ray (HOF) $7.5K DK

TOP VALUE GUARDS

Earl Timberlake G/F (Memphis) Opp CINCY ($4.4K DK/5.3K FD)

Timberlake has been getting plenty of minutes with over 30 in two of his last three games. He should see as much time as possible again today as four Tigers are game time decisions dealing with various ailments. Since breaking into the starting lineup in early December Timberlake has been a solid point per dollar fantasy play with his price hardly rising over that time span. He is averaging 6.8 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game putting him in the mid-20’s fantasy point wise.

Malaki Branham G/F (Ohio State) Opp NW ($4.3K DK/5.5K FD)

The Buckeyes freshman guard finally put it all together last week as he gave the team some desperately needed offensive help pouring in a career high 35 points on 13 of 19 shooting, including a 6 of 10 mark from 3-point range in an 87-79 overtime victory over Nebraska. With teams collapsing on EJ Liddell and Kyle Young it is creating more opportunities for Malaki and his play from beyond the perimeter is now giving opponents another dimension to consider when playing the Buckeyes, with a 36-fantasy point average over his last two games and an overall 21.6% usage and 24.6% shot rate Banham is a top value today.

Other Top Value Guards:

Darlinstone Dunbar (HOF) $4.6K DK

Omar Silverio (HOF) $5.5K DK

Daejon Davis (UW) $5.1K DK/6.5K FD

Lester Quinones G/F (MEM) $4.7K DK/4.7K FD

TOP FORWARDS

EJ Liddell (Ohio State) Opp NW ($9.5K DK/8.2K FD)

Liddell is KenPoms #1 ranked player in the nation and his numbers prove it with a 33% usage, 30.2% shot, 10.6% offensive rebounding, 19.7% assist and 9.7% block rate. He is averaging 19.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists on 30.5 minutes. There is a lot of star power today, and most lineups will try to have two of the trio of Davis, Liddell, and Trayce Jackson-Davis. You can’t go wrong with any of the three today.

Jabari Walker (Colorado) Opp UW ($7.5K DK/5.8K FD)

Walker and the Buffaloes did not look rusty in their return to action on Thursday night against Washington State after a near three-week layoff. He had 16 points in the second half, going a perfect 7-for-7 from the field. He leads Colorado in scoring (13.5 points per game) and rebounding (8.1) plus is carrying an impressive 27.8% usage and 26.9% shot rate with a combined 34.2% rebounding rate. Colorado has the third highest team implied score of the slate putting Walker firmly in play in all formats.

Abayomi Iyiola (Hofstra) Opp @JMU ($6.0K DK)

Talk about revenge game narrative. Iyiola, who transferred from Arkansas to Hofstra prior to the start of the season played a huge role in the undoing of his former team in the Pride’s big upset of the then #24 ranked Razorbacks on the road. He had a great night scoring 18 points and 14 rebounds for a double-double and now has four straight double digit rebound games. He is averaging 24 minutes with 10.6 rebounds and 28.85 DKFP over the last five games making $6.0K a fair price for cash games.

Other Top Forwards:

Trayce Jackson-Davis (IU) $9.7K DK

Pete Nance (NW) $8.6K DK/7.5K FD

Race Thompson (IU) $7.2K DK

Jameson Battle (MINN) $7.3K DK

TOP VALUE FORWARDS

Josh Minott G/F (Memphis) Opp CINCY ($3.1K DK/6.0K FD)

Minott has looked great over the last three games and was rewarded with 33 minutes of game time in Tuesday night's game against Tulsa. He has averaged 10 points and 7.3 rebounds over the last three and the shorthanded Tigers will need another solid game against the Bearcats today. $3.1K is way too cheap on DraftKings making Minott one of the most popular values of the slate.

Malcolm Dandridge (Memphis) Opp ($3.4K DK/4.1K FD)

Dandridge has given the Tigers some good minutes over the last few weeks and will play a huge role today if DeAndre Williams and Jalen Duren are both out with injuries. He scored 10 points and pulled down two rebounds to start the second half in the last game against Tulsa and Memphis will need to expect the same and even more production today. This the second game of the slate on DraftKings and the first game for FanDuel (3:30p EST tip off) so injury news will need to be monitored.
