We have a nine game slate for us this Monday evening, and boy is there a lot of value on the slate, especially on the offensive side of the ball. Whether you play on FanDuel, DraftKings, Yahoo, or all of the above, I found the value bats you need for your lineup, with options for both cash and GPPs.

Without further ado, let’s jump in and take a look at my favorite value plays for tonight’s main slate!

All Sites:

Corey Dickerson, OF TOR ($2,600 FD/$3,000 DK/$14 Yahoo) - Since joining Toronto, Dickerson is hitting .302 against right-handed pitching, and over the last week, he’s hitting .368 with a 1.032 OPS! Overall in 2021, he’s sporting a .744 OPS against right-handed pitching, and the baseball looks like a beach ball at the moment. Trust the hot bat in a solid matchup.

Brandon Marsh, OF LAA ($2,600 FD/$2,500 DK/$13 Yahoo) - Marsh is hitting .303 with an .864 OPS against righties this year, but the intrigue with him today is the fact that he’s white hot. He has 11 hits in his last 19 at-bats, good for a .579 batting average, and if you look over the last two weeks, he’s hitting .426 (20-for-47) with one home run, 11 RBI, and six runs scored. The strikeouts are an issue, yes, but he’s white hot, and Kluber might be a little rusty in his return to action. I’m trusting the hot bat tonight.

Yahoo:

Rafael Devers, 3B BOS ($14) - I was hoping Devers would be cheap enough on one of these sites so that I include him in this article. Well, Yahoo threw us a bone! At just $14 on Yahoo, he’s the easiest plug-and-play of the day from a value perspective. He’s 1-for-2 with a home run against Luis Patiño and he has a .275 batting average and .977 OPS against righties in 2021. Devers has a .922 OPS on the road this year, and Patino’s numbers are worse against left-handed hitters compared to righties. Absolutely love Devers today.

Nathaniel Lowe, 1B TEX ($11) - I don’t feel great about this one admittedly, but for $11, the upside is worth the price. Marquez’s numbers on the road aren’t as great as his home numbers, and are more favorable to left-handed hitters. A lefty himself, Lowe does have a .769 OPS against righties in 2021. Furthermore, over the last week, he’s hitting a solid .370 with a .972 OPS. He’s hit safely in seven of his last nine games, raising his batting average by seven points in the process.

FanDuel:

Alex Verdugo, OF BOS ($3,100) - Well, look at this here. Another lefty makes the Value Vault today from Boston!  As mentioned with Devers above, Patino’s .271 batting average against and .368 wOBA against left-handed hitters pales in comparison to his .205 BAA and .267 wOBA against righties. Verdugo is hitting .325 with a .395 wOBA against southpaws in 2021, and Verdugo is swinging a hot bat. Over the last week, he’s hitting .407 with a .593 slugging percentage.

Jared Walsh, 1B LAA ($3,100) - Two Angels on this list!? Woah. It’s not an indictment against Corey Kluber, but more so an endorsement of the two bats! Walsh is hitting .333 over the last week with as many extra-base hits as strikeouts! Against righties in 2021, he’s hitting .312 with a .956 OPS. Kluber has been tough on lefties this year, but he also hasn’t pitched since the middle of May and he wasn’t exactly dominant in his rehab outings. Yes, I know those rehab outings value health over success, but it’s worth noting.

DraftKings:

Lorenzo Cain, OF MIL ($2,500) - If you have the money, you’ll want to look to get Christian Yelich in there, but Cain isn’t a bad fall back plan. He’s 6-for-12 with a home run in his career against Johnny Cueto. Righties have hit .294 with a .325 wOBA against Cueto in 2021, and while Cain has been scuffling a bit of late, this is a familiar foe for the veteran outfielder. Again, I prefer Yelich if you have the funds, but I don’t expect high ownership on Cain this evening. UPDATE: Cain isn’t starting. Pivot to Yelich if you have the funds, or look at Brandon Marsh.

Luke Voit, 1B NYY ($3,300) - Voit crushes lefties and it would behoove the Yankees to get his bat in the lineup this evening. This year, Voit has a .300 batting average and .841 OPS against southpaws. In 2020, despite hitting just .229 against southpaws, he still posted a .906 OPS thanks to six home runs in 48 at-bats. Over the last two weeks, he’s hitting .395 with a 1.255 OPS. Everything above is on the assumption that José Quintana starts tonight for the Angels. UPDATE: Quintana isn’t pitching for the Angels and Voit isn’t playing. 0-for-2 there!
