I can’t believe that it is already Week 8. The season is flying by and hopefully, you’re thriving over at ThriveFantasy. My best picks flopped last week, going just 1-for-3, but we’re still pretty good for the season as a whole, and have a nice slate of props for Sunday’s slate.

It’s time to #PropUp at ThriveFantasy and take a look at some of the props for Sunday’s action! One of my favorite things about ThriveFantasy’s Sunday contests is that they give props for games all throughout the day, so you aren’t just limited to the 1:00 and 4:25 games. Do you want the late-night hammer or to sweat it out all day? You can do that!

Season: 14-for-21 (66.7%)

Last Week: 1-for-3 (33%)

Here are a few of my favorite props on Thrive Fantasy for Week 8!

Joe Mixon OVER 0.5 Rushing Touchdowns

The Jets rank 27th in DVOA, per Football Outsiders, against the run, and the game script sets up quite nicely for the Cincinnati rushing attack. Over the last four weeks, the Jets have allowed six rushing scores to running backs, and for the 2021 season as a whole, New York has allowed running backs to score 11 times, 10 of which via the rushing variety! Mixon has found the end zone in three of his last four games, and during this four-game stretch, he’s averaging 14 carries per game.

Josh Allen OVER 320.5 Passing + Rushing Yards

Over the last four weeks, the Dolphins have allowed an average of 333.75 passing yards per game. Well, there’s the over already! In his last three games against the Dolphins, he’s averaging 275 passing yards and 26 rushing yards per contest. Sure, that’s under 320.5, but the Miami defense has vastly underwhelmed this season, and I expect a big day from Allen and the Buffalo passing attack. Take the extra points and go for the over.

Michael Pittman Jr. OVER 5.5 Receptions

Pittman got 12 targets earlier this year against Tennessee, hauling in six of them for 68 yards. Tennessee has been one of the more generous secondaries to opposing receivers, so getting a whopping 115 points for over 5.5 receptions for Pittman seems like a gift from Thrive! Per Football Outsiders, Tennessee ranks 18th in DVOA against opposing No. 1 wideouts, allowing nine targets per game to the opposition’s WR1. Pittman is a physical specimen that should win at all levels of the field in this contest, en route to an easy over.
