Here are my personal core plays for this weekend's tournament.  These players listed below are my three favorite top tier, middle tier and value tier players for both DraftKings and Fanduel.  They will be at the core of all my lineups for this weekend's Shriners Children’s Open and then I'll use my playbook to fill out the remaining spots in my lineup.

Make sure you read my full PGA DFS Playbook for Shriners Children’s Open before using these core plays.  You can also take a look at my Weekly Tournament Projections at any time.

The PGA Tour heads to Vegas for the Shriners Children’s Open with a field slightly better than we saw at the Sanderson Farm last week.  I’m still going to keep my play low this weekend with so many unknowns in the field.  When you look at my playbook, you can tell that I’m trending towards a balanced approach with my lineups.  I’m not touching the very top of the pricing sheet, I’ll be starting my lineups around Abraham Ancer or Webb Simpson.

This will be another shoot-out with scores over 20 under par.  That means you need to load up your lineups with scorers, guys who can go low but can go low consistently.  Upside is the name of the game for me.

As I said earlier, I’m going to start with either Ancer or Simpson.  Then I’ll mix in two of either Corey Conners, Patrick Reed, or Joaquin Niemann.  I’ll then wrap things up with two of Kevin Kisner, Rickie Fowler or Stewart Cink.  There is plenty of flexibility out there and don’t be afraid to go off board either.  That strategy is based on DraftKings pricing, but Fanduel is very different this week.  You don't usually see this much change in pricing between these two sites.  Pay attention to my core plays and see how they differ especially at the low end.  There are a lot of ways you can go, lots of combinations.

Good luck!
