Here are my personal core plays for this weekend's tournament.  These players listed below are my three favorite top tier, middle tier and value tier players for both DraftKings and Fanduel.  They will be at the core of all my lineups for this weekend's Hewlett Packard Enterprise Houston Open and then I'll use my playbook to fill out the remaining spots in my lineup.

Make sure you read my full PGA DFS Playbook for the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Houston Open before using these core plays.  You can also take a look at my Weekly Tournament Projections at any time.

It’s nice to be back into the swing of things with regular events with 36 hole cut lines.  We’ve got a pretty similar field to last week at the World Wide Technology Championship at Mayakoba.  It is a good field but it drops off significantly after the first few players.  I’ll play about the same bankroll as last weekend and continue my play in cash games.  My strategy for tournament lineups will be more of a balanced approach because of the quality of talent in the mid-tier this weekend.  Saying that, I do think you can build a pretty good stars and scrubs lineup on Fanduel when you look through the pricing.  There are some major differences between the two major sites, more than normal.  You’ll see if you go back and check out my playbook.

I think teaching DFS players using these core lineups is way more valuable to our subscribers, it forces them to use the playbooks and not just copy and paste example lineups.  A set of these players will be in each one of my lineups this weekend and then a mix of players from my playbook will fill out the rest.

If you have any more questions, you can leave them in the chat or hit me up on twitter @Drew_Phelps83.

Good Luck!
