ex-MAD Lions - Rating at event: Woro2k 1.19 | jL 1.18 | TMB 1.03 | REDSTAR 0.98 | Buzz 0.94

ex-MAD Lions - Rating past three months: Woro2k 1.18 | jL 1.17 | REDSTAR 1.03 | TMB 1.02 | Buzz 1.01

H2H Data:

These rosters have played five maps against each other in the month of June and ex-MAD Lions won four of them. They won 2-1 on June 12th (16-5 Mirage / 11-16 Nuke / 16-12 Inferno) and 2-0 on June 7th (25-22 Dust2 / 16-9 Mirage).

Prediction/Narrative: ex-MAD Lions win 2-1.

Ex-MAD Lions have been on fire. They have won five series in a row and are coming off of a win against Fnatic at the Grand Final of REPUBLEAGUE Season 3. Beyond that, ex-MAD Lions have beaten Eternal Fire both times that they have played them in the past month. Ex-MAD Lions have at least a 60% win rate on Nuke, Mirage, Inferno, and Dust2 with this roster, and they should be the favorites in this series. Ex-MAD Lions dominated Eternal Fire 16-5 on Mirage last time and they will likely go right back to that map selection. As for Eternal Fire, they may look to pick Nuke again or even a map like Overpass, and they might be able to win on their own map choice, but overall I can't get behind the idea of Eternal Fire as the favorite in this best-of-three. I'm taking ex-MAD Lions as the underdog. jL led the server, or tied for the lead, in ADR and total kills in both series that these rosters played against each other.

H2H Data:

These rosters have never faced each other.

Prediction/Narrative: Complexity wins 2-0.
Complexity have been on a downward spiral and this is essentially a must-win series for them. SINNERS are a solid tier-two team, and they have played decent with Tomkeejs in the lineup, however, the fact that their coach is standing in for them team has certainly cost them at times. Tomkeejs is carrying a 0.79 Rating and is averaging 0.51 kills per round with 0.70 deaths per round. Tomkeejs is an obvious detriment to this SINNERS lineup despite some decent results from the team, and Complexity need to show that they can get the win here if their roster wants any hope of surviving. Complexity have a 5-3 W/L record on Nuke in the past three months, while SINNERS just got destroyed 4-16 against forZe last week on that map, so Complexity may look to that map. Inferno is Complexity's most played map, but they have lost five in a row on it so they may stay away from that map. However, they did lose to some elite teams such as Cloud9, Vitality, and Astralis, so perhaps Inferno is a better map for them than the numbers show. Overpass has been SINNERS' go-to map and Complexity have won two in a row on Overpass against respectable opponents: OG and Astralis. Thus, I do think the potential for the sweep is here. Complexity have the more talented roster and if they are going to win, it will likely be dominant showing.
