NBA DFS Playbook - April 6

All systems go here. Dallas is still playing for playoff seeding and this is an A++ matchup for one of the league's best players in Luka Doncic. Luka is averaging 65 FP over the last five games and just dropped 70 FP against the Bucks. He went for 65 FP against the Pistons earlier this season.

Atlanta is in the play-in games but they can still move up to improve their positioning and that is what we want at this point in the year. Players who have something to play for. Young finished with 55 fantasy points against Toronto yesterday and he is averaging 53 fantasy points over the last five games.

Burks continues to get consistent runs in this Knicks lineup, even as the season winds down. The matchup against the Nets is definitely a favorable one and Burks is averaging 30 FP against them in three games this season. Over the last five games, Burks is averaging 35 fantasy points.

The Suns are sitting most of their starters today so this game may not be overly competitive but this is still a good price for Jackson and the Clippers have something to play for here. Over the last three games Jackson is averaging 39 fantasy points.

Mike Conley and Donovan Mitchell have been ruled out tonight which means it is all systems go for Jordan Clarkson here against a Thunder team that is starting guys they are just calling up from the G-League.

No Chris Paul and no  Devin Booker tonight. Payne will move into the starting lineup and we know he can be a high volume scorer and could also flirt with double-digit assists here as well.

Blowouts have kept his minutes to 20 over the last two games but he continues to dish out a high volume of assists. If this game is competitive another double-double potential effort is in play.

George has been stellar since his return and now faces a Suns team that is sitting most of their starters and while he still figures to see plenty of Mikal Bridges I do like the price and the upside here in a takeover type spot for him.

Celtics and Bulls are still very much jockeying for playoff positioning and we could be looking at a playoff preview here tonight. Brown and Tatum have been fantastic together lately and while the price is climbing for Brown, on this small slate, I like his upside.

Strong minutes of late and with only a few games left he should continue to get some serious run. Quickley is averaging 34 fantasy points over the last five games and he has gone for 57 and 40 FP over the last two contests. The Nets are not a good defensive team. Love this price.

KCP is averaging 35 FP in three games against the Hawks this season and over the last six games, he is averaging 32 fantasy points. Price is under $6,000 which means we should get an easy 5-6x return tonight.

As long as Gallinari is out of the lineup I think I am buying into Huerter. In games where Gallinari is active and starting the offense goes down. Huerter is averaging 29 FP over the last five games. Hunter has scored 20+ actual points in five of the last six games.

Patrick Williams is going to get the Tatum assignment tonight and while Williams is a strong defensive player, Tatum is still playing at another level, averaging 27.5 points while shooting 50.6% from the floor over the last four games. 

Barrett is averaging 35.7 fantasy points over the last five games. With Julius Randle out of the lineup he gets a nice usage bump and he went for 44 FP in his last contest. He played 42 minutes against Brooklyn back on March 13th and finished with 24 points in that game but only 33 fantasy points.

No Paul, no Booker, no Crowder, no Ayton tonight for the Suns. While other high-usage players like Cameron Payne and Cameron Johnson enter the starting lineup, I still look for Bridges to take on a bigger offensive role tonight.

Seth Curry does return to the lineup tonight for the Nets so there is some , minor, concern when it comes to Bruce Brown but this dude just continues to contribute on a night-to-night basis and for that I don't mind tossing him into some GPP's.

LOVE the price here for Bojan with Mitchell and Conley out of the lineup. We saw him snipe 11 three-pointers in this very same matchup back in early March. 

Hunter has been rock solid for most of this season once he returned from injury and as long as Danilo Gallinari is ruled out I am willing to give him a run here tonight against the Wizards at this price point.

Love the minutes right now for Williams as he is playing over 30-minutes a night over the last three. He has a very tough matchup here against the Celtics but he is active enough on both ends of the floor that he doesn't have to do much to pay off this price tag, especially on DraftKings.

Durant is averaging 63 fantasy points against the Knicks this season and while I understand that Irving wasn't in those games, he still has an elite matchup and just went for 72 fantasy points a few games ago. Smaller slate, few have his upside.

Going to have his work cut out for him tonight as he faces Kevin Durant but Toppin has been strong since moving into the starting lineup for Julius Randle, averaging 35 fantasy points over the last two games while playing 31 and 35 minutes.

Not worried about the minutes here on a back-to-back. As long as this game stays close he should see 30+ minutes and the matchup against the Hawks is not one that many struggle with.

The minute's cap that was on Morris is seemingly now off as he has played 27, 39 and 27 over the past three games. He likely see the Cameron Johnson defense which is the better draw with Mikal Bridges dealing with Paul George. Morris is averaging 26 fantasy points over the last three games.

Cover of the playbook. We love ourselves some Cameron Johnson here at Fantasy Alarm. Johnson has gone for 20+ FP in both games since his return but we've seen him pop off for 40+ fantasy points numerous times this season when the team has been shorthanded. 

The matchup against Clint Capela could be a tough draw but Zinger is really looking good down the stretch here for the Wizards. Over the last six games, he is averaging 43 fantasy points.

Robert Williams is still out of the lineup which puts Horford in a good spot as the main big in the Celtics lineup. Now, I know they start Daniel Theis next to him but Horford is the more productive player of the two and I expect that to continue here against the Bulls.

Porzingis is not a great defensive player and Capela should be able to outrebound him pretty easily here as well. If Gallinari is out of the lineup then Capela actually gets a few more looks on the offensive end as well.

Deandre Ayton is out of the lineup. McGee should be the start here and in a great spot against the Clippers. My lone worry is that Bismack Biyombo ends up being the more productive player off the bench. Both are dart throws in GPPs tonight.

I don't know what the Pistons are going to do with their rotation but Powell has been really good of late. If he draws a favorable matchup that isn't Isaiah Stewart for 35 minutes then I think he can give us another strong night. I like him as a value cash game option.
