After taking a week off for the International Break, Saturday’s EPL DFS slate is stacked. Most of the best teams and players are involved in the slate, with Tottenham the most notable absence. Even so, we add Cristiano Ronaldo, Romelu Lukaku and potentially even Kevin De Bruyne to a Premier League landscape that already featured a ton of talent. If there was ever a slate to go stars-and-scrubs, this is it. With so many games, finding underpriced enablers is relatively easy; the biggest challenge will likely be fielding the correct stars.

Goalkeepers

Daniel BachmannWATWOL44004.0196.17
Wolverhampton is going to score eventually, but nobody would be shocked if they were shut out for a fourth consecutive game. More importantly, only Liverpool has allowed more saves to opponents than Wolves so far this season. At the very least, Bachmann should record a handful of saves at a cheap price. If he can eke out a win and/or a clean sheet, Bachmann could be a fantastic value.
Tim KrulNORARS3900-3.458-4.33
Krul is far riskier than Daniel Bachmann, but if you need to save some money or you are chasing lower ownership in a GPP, Krul is worth a look. Like Wolves, Arsenal is still looking for its first goal and its first point, and if they cannot find them against Norwich, Krul's fantasy production will far surpass his price. If the last few seasons have taught us anything, it is that whenever we think Arsenal have hit rock bottom, there are always unreached depths. Arsenal will probably win easily and Krul will probably score negative fantasy points again, but the possibility that Arsenal earns another red card and lays another egg is tantalizing.
David de GeaMUNNEW590010.711416.33
Manchester United is -135 to win and keep a clean sheet. I don't usually like to pay up for keepers in cash games, but if I had extra money to spend, I think I feel confident enough that Newcastle won't score to play de Gea. This would be an even better play if Callum Wilson is out.
Scott CarsonMCILEI5500055.50
Its not a great matchup, but I don't know how you get away from Scott Carson on FanDuel if he starts. With Zack Steffen out due to covid and Ederson ineligible, Carson looks like a fantastic value. Ederson costs $12 and while he is probably a better keeper, I'm not sure he is that much better.

Cristiano RonaldoMUNNEW92000230.00
To be honest, I would love to give you some hipster take about how Ronaldo is overpriced and overhyped and not even the best player on his team. In fact, I think I agree with that last point. That being said, he should be on penalties, he has a fantastic matchup and I think his team is invested in making sure he has a good first game back with United. For as much attacking talent as there is in this slate, none of it feels particularly safe, but I think Ronaldo is.
Michail AntonioWHUSOU1050032.432146.97
Only four teams have conceded more than Southampton this season, and Antonio leads the league in shots, shots on target, shots in the box, big chances, expected goals and goals. You could talk me into paying up for him on DraftKings, but I like his FanDuel price quite a bit.

Ilkay GundoganMCILEI750012.951414.70
Gundogan was fantastic last season with Kevin De Bruyne out, and he has 20 crosses, five shots and five chances created in three games this season. De Bruyne is making his way back but if he starts the game on the bench, Gundogan is a nice value on both sites.
Ismaila SarrWATWOL790017.611620.97
Sarr has 13 crosses, eight chances created and eight shots (four on goal) through three games. At home against a Wolverhampton team that has allowed one goal in each game this season, Sarr looks like one of the safer players on the slate.
Bukayo SakaARSNOR67003.82164.97
Saka has gotten off to a slow start, but so has his entire team. When Arsenal are at their best, it is with Saka creating for himself and others on the wing. He is a tempting cash play on DK, but I love his upside in a great matchup for GPPs.
Jarrod BowenWHUSOU770011.691715.67
West Ham has 10 goals through three games, and somehow Bowen has not been involved in any of them. That being said, he has 21 crosses and eight chances created, and he has to get an attacking return sooner than later. He is a solid cash play and could be a low-owned alternative to West Ham's more expensive attackers.
Pablo FornalsWHUSOU690018.191728.37
Fornals is not as safe as Bowen, but he has two goals and an assist to go with six crosses and eight chances created. Fornals is a cheap way into West Ham's attack on DraftKings, even if we don't expect an attacking return in every game.

Mason MountCHEAVL  1814.57
Mount is coming off a rough statistical showing against Liverpool, but this should be a much better matchup at home. With Christian Pulisic out, Mount should create plenty of chances.
TrincaoWOLWAT6000101716.23
Wolves will finally get their first goal of the season in this game, and I think Trincao is their best attacker for fantasy, especially on DraftKings. Adama Traore is safer but he is more expensive and I don't trust him to finish. Trincao has at least two shots in all three games, with two chances created in two of those games. He had four crosses against Tottenham and if he matches that against Watford, he is underpriced.
Pascal GrossBHABRE890018.011723.87
He's flying under the radar with so many big names on the slate, but I think Gross is the safest player for either site. Brentford has only allowed one goal this season but I still don't think they are a matchup to be feared. Brentford has 45 percent possession on the season, so Brighton should have the ball for the majority of the game yet again. That only reinforces Gross's safety.
Defenders
PlayerTeamOpp.DK $DK FPPGFD $FD FPPG
Cedric SoaresARSNOR38001.84108.65
Soares only has two crosses through two games, but that should change at home against Norwich. Cedric averaged 4.12 crosses per start last season, and I would take the over on that total in this matchup.
Max AaronsNORARS35007.011013.97
I do not understand why Aarons is so cheap coming off a good game at home against Leicester. Aarons may not match his three chances created from that game but I think he will have opportunities to get forward and send in crosses like he did against Leicester. This may be your last chance to get Aarons dirt cheap.
Jack StephensSOUWHU25002.891010.67
Only Burnley has allowed more clearances to opponents than West Ham this season, and that should benefit Stephens slightly more than Mohammed Salisu. Stephens had five clearances against Manchester United and he could have more than that Saturday.
MarcalWOLWAT41008.34811.10
Marcal has 19 crosses through three games; the same as Vladimir Coufal and three more than Aaron Cresswell and Kieran Tierney. This is by far his best matchup of the young season, so he could be even better than what he has shown so far. Marcal looks like a great value for DK cash games and I think he is a GPP play on both sites.
Kurt ZoumaWHUSOU330001015.80
Zouma is probably too cheap on FanDuel, considering he averaged 15.8 fppg with Chelsea last season. Only four teams have allowed more clearances+tackles+interceptions than Southampton this season, and Zouma should collect a fair number of defensive stats. If Zouma starts on the bench, Craig Dawson would be a strong cash play.
