Eagles waived RB Tyrion Davis-Price.

A former third-round pick of the 49ers back in 2022, Davis-Price has appeared in just eight games during his career, amassing 127 scoreless yards on the ground on 43 carries. The former LSU Tiger has struggled to find his footing in the pros, and will be battling to make a 53-man roster wherever he lands next.

Rhett Lowder (elbow) will make his first minor league rehab start on Tuesday in the Rookie-level Arizona Complex League.

Lowder is widely-considered one of the top pitching prospects in baseball after making six starts last year for the Reds. The seventh-overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft is still a couple weeks from making it back to Cincinnati as he completes his rehabilitation process from right elbow discomfort that cropped up during spring training. There’s a strong possibility he’s back in the Reds’ rotation at some point in June.

Diamondbacks recalled LHP Tommy Henry from Triple-A Reno.

The bullpen carousel keeps on spinning for Arizona with Henry becoming the latest addition to the chaos ahead of Sunday’s series finale against the Phillies. The 27-year-old southpaw hasn’t pitched in the big leagues this season after making nine appearances (seven starts) last year for the Diamondbacks. He figures to pitch in long relief.

Orioles activated RHP Chayce McDermott from the 15-day injured list; optioned him to Triple-A Norfolk.

McDermott tossed four shutout innings on Saturday in his final minor league rehab start for Triple-A Norfolk. The 26-year-old righty, who opened the year on the injured list with a lat strain, will remain stationed on the doorstep of the majors as extra starting pitching depth for now. There’s a strong possibility he gets a look in Baltimore at some point in the coming weeks.

Cole Ragans (groin) will start on Monday against the White Sox.

It’s a relief for fantasy managers, who can safely lock Ragans into weekly lineups, after his previous start was skipped last week due to a mild left groin strain. The 27-year-old fantasy ace has been excellent this season, recording a 4.40 ERA (2.73 FIP), 1.17 WHIP and 46/9 K/BB ratio across 30 2/3 innings (six starts).
