Ty France drove in two runs while going 3-for-5 in a win Monday for the Twins over the Athletics.
Ty France went 1-for-4 with an RBI against the Royals on Sunday.
France continues to have appeal in deeper formats as he’s become a main cog in the Twins’ run scoring machine. The 30-year-old first baseman isn’t blowing anyone away with his production as he’s hitting .251 with a .674 OPS, but his 29 RBI are nothing to sneeze at.
Ty France went 1-for-4 with a walk-off, two-run homer on Friday in a 3-1 win over the Twins.
This game was locked in a 1-1 tie from the second inning until France’s ninth inning blast off Lucas Erceg. May has not been a great month for him as he’s fallen from a .773 OPS to a .672 OPS when play began today and he’s been replaced in the starting lineup for three of the Twins’ last eight games. He’d started 41 of 42 games to that point this season. Perhaps this heroic moment can help him regain that full-time starting spot.
Ty France went 1-for-4 with an RBI single against the Brewers on Friday.
France began Thursday’s game on the bench after fouling a ball off the inside of his foot and leaving the first game of Wednesday’s doubleheader against the Orioles. France ended up entering Thursday’s game when Byron Buxton and Carlos Correa collided and Correa was removed from the game. France was back in the starting lineup Friday and continues to have some value in deeper formats.
