Kyle Bradish told reporters Wednesday that he’s about halfway through his bullpen progression.
Bradish told reporters that his goal is to start live bullpen sessions in July, and then begin a rehab assignment. That could see the 28-year-old join the Baltimore rotation in August, but that’s far from a guarantee. It’d be nice to see Bradish on the bump for a couple of months to help determine his potential fantasy value for 2026.

Bradish still needs to progress to facing hitters before he’s cleared for a rehab assignment. He’s been throwing bullpen sessions for a couple weeks as he continues to work his way back from last year’s Tommy John surgery. He should be ready to make his season debut around midseason.

This was Bradish’s first bullpen as he recovers from Tommy John surgery he underwent last June. The hope is that Bradish can return to the Baltimore rotation at some point in the middle of the 2025 campaign.

This was nothing more than a procedural move to free up a spot on the club’s 40-man roster for the addition of Kyle Gibson on Friday. Bradish is still in the process of recovering from Tommy John surgery and isn’t expected to be ready to return until July at the earliest.
