2025 Player Outlook

Moreno has improved his walk rate in each of the last two seasons, posting a very healthy 11.7 percent mark last season. His strikeout rate also checked in at an impressive 14.8 percent, giving him a strong base of plate skills from which to grow his offensive production. The power has yet to show up, but Moreno may grow into a bit more as he enters his age 25 season.

It’s an encouraging sign heading into next week that Arizona has removed emergency catcher Aramis Garcia from the active roster already. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. It’ll be Jose Herrera handling the catching duties on Sunday afternoon in his place.
