Harlow (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Buccaneers.
Harlow was promoted to Atlanta's active roster from the practice squad Dec. 20, but he won't be called upon to suit up in Tampa Bay in Week 17.
Harlow was signed to Atlanta's 53-man roster Friday, D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
The 24-year-old Harlow has bounced on and off the Falcons' practice squad throughout the year, but he is granted a chance to suit up for his second regular-season contest of 2019 with James Carpenter (concussion) now on injured reserve. Between Weeks 16 and 17 Harlow will serve as a backup at offensive guard behind current starters Wes Schweitzer and Chris Lindstrom.
Harlow was waived by the Falcons on Saturday.
Harlow suited up for just one game with the team after being promoted from the practice squad earlier this month. He figures to land back there if he ends up clearing waivers.
Harlow was added to the 53-man roster Saturday in a corresponding move to Ito Smith (concussion) being placed on injured reserve, Will McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
The 24-year-old offensive lineman is being called up from the practice squad a day after Wes Schweitzer (concussion) was ruled out for Week 10. At Friday's practice Harlow took snaps at center with the second-team offense, indicating his anticipated role for Sunday's matchup against New Orleans.
