Saints signed T Storm Norton, formerly of the Chargers, to a one-year contract.
Norton, one of the worst tackles in the league in 2020 and 2021, was not given much of a chance to damage the Chargers as Foster Sarell took snaps over him for most of 2022. He profiles as depth in New Orleans.
Chargers re-signed RT Storm Norton.
The Chargers officially extended a tender offer to Norton, but since he is an exclusive rights free agent, he has to sign the offer if he wants to remain in the league. Norton ended up starting 15 games at right tackle last season, but he is better suited to a reserve role.
Chargers signed OT Storm Norton to a two-year contract.
Norton fell out of the league in 2018. He'll get another shot after showing well in the XFL. Norton joins Trent Scott, Trey Pipkins, and Cole Toner as backup options behind Bryan Bulaga and Sam Tevi.
