2023 Player Outlook

After being given the franchise tag by the New York Giants, Saquon Barkley was downright unhappy; he still hasn't signed the tag and is instead negotiating for a new contract, leading to questions of a potential holdout. He had the best year since his rookie season in 2022, playing all but one game and finishing as the RB5 in PPR leagues, and if he can avoid injury in 2023, he's set up for another fantastic year. The Giants continued improving their offensive line through the draft, and with a middle-of-the-road strength of schedule, Barkley should capitalize on being one of the few bell-cow backs left in the NFL. It all comes down to whether or not he signs his contract.
