Browns signed OT Geron Christian off the Rams’ practice squad.
He’ll replace Dawand Jones on the active roster. Christian has been a vagabond since being drafted by Washington in 2018, playing with the Texans, Chiefs, and Browns. He was with the Titans in training camp and has gone back-and-forth between the Browns and Rams in-season. He’ll provide veteran tackle play for the Browns should Jedrick Wills remain out.
Titans signed OT Geron Christian, formerly of the Browns.
Christian began 2023 with the Dolphins but was cut at the end of training camp. He had a cup of coffee in Houston and then found a more permanent home in Cleveland. Including the Wild Card Round, Christian started 10 games for the Browns, all at left tackle. He gave up five sacks and 39 pressures. He is following offensive line coach Bill Callahan from Cleveland to Tennessee. Christian will be competing for a backup job in training camp.
Dolphins waived OT Geron Christian.
The Fins signed Christian to a one-year deal earlier this offseason, but he won’t be making the 53-man roster. A five-year veteran with 48 NFL games under his belt, Christian could catch on as another team in need of offensive line help. Christian has started 16 games in his career and can play both tackle positions.
Dolphins re-signed T Geron Christian to a one-year, $1.08 million contract.
Christian was claimed by the Dolphins from Kansas City at the end of the 2022 season and has now been given another year in Miami. He has started 16 games and appeared in 48 over a five-year NFL career. Expect Christian to serve as depth at tackle on a "prove it" deal with only $200,000 fully guaranteed.
