Gossett started four games at left guard for Atlanta last year and one more game for the Falcons in 2021. He was initially drafted by the Vikings in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Gossett will serve as a depth option for the Browns. 

Gossett was active for 14 games in 2021 but started just one for Atlanta. He'll continue serving as offensive line depth in 2022. 

Gossett recorded four starts with the Cardinals in 2018 but hasn't seen any action since. He was on New England's practice squad for a week in 2019. Gossett was unlikely to make the final roster in Cleveland but could have given some extra depth to the team's interior offensive line. Pelissero reports that Gossett qualifies for the high-risk stipend.

Gossett was elevated to the active roster after Cleveland placed running back Dontrell Hilliard (knee) on injured reserve. He was drafted by the Vikings in the sixth round of the 2018 draft and appeared in five games for Arizona last season.
